You do a great job calling statements of those you disagree with “flawed” and “illogical”, without ever providing a shred of supporting argumentation
Glad you’re able to acknowledge your shortcomings with a sense of humor.Been proven over and again in past threads.
Why is it that the entire civilized world, which includes first and foremost the Vatican, and also includes many Israelis, can see the merit of the Palestinian cause and the need for a just settlement to this dispute, except for those like you?
Someone as adept at logic and spotting fallacious assertions as yourself ought to know that this is a prime example. You must work to curb the bigotry and hatred you feel toward the Palestinian people. Nobody who sees that the Palestinians have a legitimate grievance condones terrorist tactics. Pope John Paul II spoke eloquently of the plight of the Palestinians. I suppose that under your “logic”, that means Pope John Paul II supported terrorism. Your bigotry lies in your equation of the just aspirations of the Palestinian people with terrorism. You also seem unable to acknowledge the Palestinians a a people. This is the essencce of bigotry. The entire civilized world doesn’t accept terrorism as a means for these former Jordanians & Egyptians to be given their own state.
The Palestinians in Gaza are the descendants of those who were forced from their homes when Israel was founded in 1948. This original injustice is something many Jews acknowledge and many are trying to come to grips with.Merit? These same peoples were offered their own land/state in 1948 and refused. Merit?
