Quite right, but the people who do not fit those two groups are anomalies: neither one sex nor the other, but with aspects of both sexes. That is not what trans people are saying. They are saying ‘I was born male, but I am actually female’, or vice versa. There is no evidence of that being possible at the chromosomal level.

I suppose you missed (ignored?) the transman on the cover of the men’s health magazine. Transmen are making huge inroads: you just choose to ignore them because they invalidate your argument.

And I’d play sport with a transwomen, I have in the past. We’re not being pushed out of sport :roll_eyes:
 
Are you serious? What people do you think need to clarify their pronouns?? Do you think this entire thread is about the Johnny Cash song?

Many say they have the brain of the other.

Science says that if a person has a Y chromosome, they are male. If they have no Y chromosome, they are female. It is really very simple, no matter what combination of X and Y they are.

Cool, what about people with androgen insensitivity disorder? They have a y and develop female.
 
I find your casual dismissal of women’s concerns and consent really disturbing. You keep talking about what you are happy to concede with zero regard for any of the real life examples I hav brought up of women being disadvantaged and put in harm’s way by this obscuring of facts. Im astonished you can’t see that.

Stop appropriating the physical issues of intersex people as a prop to this lie that the penis can be anything other than a male organ and the vagina a female one.

And you ignore the trouble facing transwomen and actively misgender them, while ignoring transmen. Transwomen are women, their concerns are valid.
 
You don’t need to shut up. If you haven’t read the thread do so and get caught up. There is a lot to talk about that is on topic.
 
I find it pretty easy. I mean we already ask women what their title is all the time (miss, mrs or ms? Is something I am asked most days). And were I rude to people I would lose my job, it’s not new.
 
Transwomen are men, and as men with gender dysphoria need certain medical care which they should receive. They do not need access to female sex based rights and protections. And I do not ignore transmen and other gender non conforming people - my own daughter is one of those people. I simple will not cede the rights of my fellow women to make transwomen feel validated.

And there is even less evidence for that. We are having to take what they say completely on faith, with zero scientific evidence for their claims. When a madman claims to be Napoleon Bonaparte, do we take him at his word?

Sounds very much like you just ignored their preferences unless they still identify was female.

Transwomen are women. And you do seem to ignore transmen all the time, would to like a link to the fellow on the cover of men’s health?
 
Maybe not Napoleon, but definitely His Royal Highness Emperor Norton Emperor of the United States and all the Americas. Even 200 years later he’s still kinda a big deal here in San Francisco. 😛
 
Actually they’ve done quite a few brain scans that are showing more evidence for it 😊 we all know that bodies and brains can be flawed, in this instance there’s a disconnect; why assume the consciousness is broken when it may be the body?
