Why do you keep on insisting that the Church fund your project? I don’t know of any churches that do that, beyond some charity giving. But as far as being the main provider for research, no church does that.

There are funding programs for research, why do you demand that the Church do something it is not equipped to do?

You seem to have a bone to pick with the Church Jon. You are simply barking up the wrong tree. It’s like going to Burger King and demanding a pizza.

You don’t seem to want to answer the question as to why you have not used the traditional avenues for research grants and instead demanding this one organization (the Church) fund you for which it is not in the business of doing.

You have wasted time and effort by going to the Church. I never heard of any research organization doing such a thing.

Why have you not used the traditional and proven approach for funding? I don’t understand it as it doesn’t make sense.

The traditional avenues of research funding move so slowly that it means death to Mary.

Why are you being obtuse in realising that this biblically based research applies to all of humanity and not just Mary but millions like her?

Why is it my research and not our research as fellow christians?

It applies not only to mice and men, but the whole mammallian animal kingdom.

Why would the church shun this scientific research rather than embrace it’s origins?

Why would you?

Who is the real christian in this scenario?

I believe your problems have affected you so deeply that you are no longer reasonable. You should seek counsel from a priest or doctor.

I will no longer post here and I recommend that you don’t either as you have more important things to take care of. God Bless

The last I heard Rick, the catholic church is pro-life, not pro-death.

I am saddened that both you and bishop brom have no faith in the healing power of christ, and no interest in my project’s biblical basis.

I consider myself a very reasonable fellow, reaching out to my fellow christians in good faith, and with a true heart.

jomoco – are you a licensed medical doctor or do you have a Ph.D. in a field such as biology/chemistry/etc.?

If not, why would any institution (such as a research hospital or pharmaceutical company) let alone the Church listen to your ideas on this to the point of funding?

If so, how could you think that the Church would be a primary source of funding? Find a venture capitalist or apply for a government grant. The Church doesn’t have the wherewithal to fund everyones pet projects.

For the simple reason that I’m telling the truth about the Gen 7 project JMJ.

If the church wishes to shun this project, so be it, I’m just being true to myself and Mary by approaching the church at her time of need and getting the church’s response on record clearly.

I guess I’ve gotten my answer from the catholic church, and it’s clearly death as usual.

Perhaps the world of science will have a more logical answer to my question in time?

I’m sorry for your troubles and burdens. I have nothing to offer regarding the OP but you have not answered JMH_coders inquiry…

If your answer to the above is yes, yes, yes and yes… well then perhaps you need to reach out to the people in the proper fields and areas of expertise

Best regards…

Well it’s obvious that reaching out to the church to find answers in the bible is getting Mary and I no where.

The Gen 7 project will be completed with or without the catholic church’s assistance.

It’s a rather ironic situation though when the bible provides the possible means of curing the world’s many ills without sacrificing innocent lives in the womb to accomplish that end, and the church ignores it, leaving it to science to do the heavy lifting while it maintains a careful neutrality until the battle is won or lost.

A truly sad state of affairs indeed in my humble opinion.

No, I am not a PhD research scientist, though over 5 of them are involved in the Gen 7 project protocols being written, I am just a humble arborist trying to save my wife’s life before her time runs out.

She and I have always believed in the preciousness of life whether flawed or not.

Once again, I am sorry about your pain and burden, but have you noticed it is NOT the Church who is leading and researching cancer cures or Alzheimer’s cures or Parkinson’s cures OR ANY cures.

It is science and medicine. That’s the path you need to follow and pursue.

Like some other poster mentioned on the OP… “you are barking up the wrong tree”…

Quite a bit of scientists and doctors and (et al) in the proper field are Christians. Reach out to them for assistance.

You posting your finding and burden here on CAF - Non-Catholic will yield no results.

I wish you well and may you find your answer in God’s Hands…

And if I may, which I will add to this…

Why is your question under Non-Catholic section?

There are so many appropriate places in CAF to post this and I feel this section was wrong…

Perhaps you would have received other answers or suggestions in your quest… 🤷

Posing my questions in the catholic section would have been dishonest on my part, I was raised a mormon, was a mormon when I conceived of this research in 1979 as a teenager visiting San Francisco for the first time, reading my bible and pondering what a sad thing it was that gay people would never know the beauty of real love between a man and woman, that the very foundations of society depended on man and woman as the actual physical trees of life themselves, and our fate as a society depended on this principle’s value remaining supreme.

It took me three years of diligent medical research at UC Irvine Med Library to determine that sperm were of ideal dimensions to move safely through the bloodstream of whichever mammal it came from, man dog cat elephant whatever, the sperm size corrollates to the red bloodcell size without exception, in human beings it’s 7.5 microns for both spermcells and red bloodcells.

I took my findings to Dr. Bonavida at UCLA in 1982 fully expecting him to boot me out of his office for wasting his time on nonsense, but the exact opposite occurred, he was fascinated with the project’s hypothesis, made copies of my meager notes, and 1 week later offered to write a proof of concept animal protocol using rats, which he presented to me the following week at an estimated cost of 15K.

Not having 15K, but being a believing mormon, I sold my worldly possessions for a one-way plane ticket to salt lake city utah so I could present my amazing Gen 7 project to the church elders and have them lift the weight of it from my humble and fallible shoulders.

But brother White took offense at my wish to present my findings to the elders stating that I was confusing the spiritual with the physical world, then called a guard to escort me out of their church to emphasize his point.

The truth of the matter appears to be that the LDS and Catholic churches have alot in common when it comes to my Gen 7 project.

These days I think of myself as a simple christian with an interesting take on real bible based studies.

Do you still insist that I’m posting in the wrong forum friend?

I’m going to have to agree with the other people on this forum: I think you’re barking up the wrong tree. Religious organizations are not the types of institutions you should be approaching on this topic. There are lots of reasons why that is true, but I’m not going to get into that now.

However, there are plenty of organizations that do give funding for scientific/medical research. For instance, I personally know several people who’ve gotten hundreds of thousands of dollars from the National Science Foundation. Have you checked with them? You’d have to write a grant application (and you probably couldn’t be the one to submit it - it would need to be someone with serious credentials). But why aren’t you pursuing avenues like that?

I’m surprised the guys working on this research with you haven’t been working on grants. As researchers, they should know much better than you, where and how to get money for these things. It’s frequently part of the training that you have to receive when you get a Ph.D (at least in the sciences).

One thing though: If you’re going to pursue funding for this project, you need to drop that whole religious bent you’ve got. Maybe you’re right about the Genesis interpretation. Maybe you’re not. It doesn’t matter. You need to drop it. No one is going to give you funding while you’re rambling on about Genesis. No one is going to take you seriously (at least no one who gives away money for research projects). If you even hint that you’re pursuing some type of religious quest, then you’ve just burned your chance for funding. What you need is data - scientific data. You need reasonable evidence that this kind of project will actually bear fruit and be beneficial to society. (Depending on how you work it, you might even want to prove that it can turn a profit - maybe some private firm would be interested in investing in it). You need letters of approval/recommendation from people knowledgeable in this field (preferably people with impressive credentials) who will be able to affirm that this project is worth pursuing over other potentially fruitful projects. You need well-written proposals of how you’re going to pursue the next stage of the research. Maybe even a budget for exactly how you’re going to spend the money. You need charts and graphs to present your current data in a convincing way.

You should talk to the other guys working on this project and see if they can help you with this. When you actually have some drafts for funding requests written, run them by some other people who can give you opinions on how to improve - not just these five guys. You should get some outside opinions, too (preferably from people who are good at obtaining funding for their own projects).

I’m really sorry about your wife, and I hope you can get this to work out. But take my advice - you really need to approach this in the right way. Good luck and God Bless.

My research indicates that both sperm and menstrual fluid were designed to play dual roles in god’s plan,
Notice, “My research”
I encourage you to verify my assertions by reading about my research at this link.
Link to ALSTDI, research clinic in Cambridge, MA. Jon is in California.
I could not find anyone with the name of Jon in the list of employees.
I did the above post and he never replied to it.
So tell me Thing, how do you feel about all the grafting of trees scripture that permeates the bible?
This was indeed a strange post but made clearer later on. “Grafting of trees”
I am not willing to let my wife succumb to this cruel disease without taking action, and neither should the church that we both believe in.
His wife is Catholic but he later states he is Mormon. I don’t know of any Mormons that believe in the Catholic Church.

Arborist–tree specialist. What happened to the research scientist he led us to believe he is?

Another strange quote with trees again as one of the subjects.

How did a Arborist come up with such scientific language? Why lead us to believe that he was a research scientist? Why did he lead us to believe that he worked at that research lab he provided the link for? Actually, none of his statements make much sense as he jumps from scientific language, to grafting of trees, to gay people, then mankind being actual physical trees.

I believe we have a Troll.

Oh my, bible study certainly seems to be frowned on at this good christian forum.

What’s next friends, sticks and stones?

There’s a certain irony to your mistaken assumptions, you see the one thing that Bishop Brom and I were in complete agreement on is that man and woman are indeed the trees of life spoken of in genesis.

White Tree cautions me to drop the whole biblical genesis angle, to keep any religious aspects of Gen 7 covered up and hidden like it’s some form of leprosy that would scare folks.

And you my friend, stating I should approach investors, venture capitalists, patent the knowledge and sell it for profit to whomever can meet their price.

Profitting off the misery of the sick and diseased is your christian counsel to me?

Suffice it to say I reject your immoral and ethically depraved counsel entirely.

jomoco

Your interpretations of biblical verses are unusual to put it mildly.
Did it ever occur to any of you that the bible was a riddle embedded in a seven lock box patiently waiting for someone to read it and unlock it’s divine contents?
You won’t find many here who subscribe to so called “Bible codes”.

Do you know what a proof of concept is? It doesn’t mean that your idea has any merit, it means that the researcher wanted you to pay 15k (note he didn’t proffer to pony up the $$$ on this exciting new idea) so that he could research whether or not it might be worthwhile to spend maybe $15 million on the R&D to bring it to fruition (which is still no guarantee of success).

You say that this happened between 1979-1982. What have you been doing with it for the past 27 years?

You mention that your now a “simple Christian” which I assume to mean you might attend some sort of non-denominational group. Have you approached your local Protestant group for fundraising?

And you my friend, stating I should approach investors, venture capitalists, patent the knowledge and sell it for profit to whomever can meet their price.

jomoco
And yet you are still expecting others to pay for your R&D. 🤷

Note: Asking for reasonable renumeration is not “profitting off misery”. You make it sound like doctors and such should volunteer all of their services.

The missing 27 years were spent raising 3 children who are now grown.

It was Mary that drove me to UCLA for my first meeting with Dr. Bonavida, she has played a huge role in driving the Gen 7 project, she was an outstanding mother in every respect, all 3 of our children were baptised in the catholic church.

Gen 7 was more of a hobby for me during those years, it haunted me by refusing to die, each time I saved enough money to complete the next phase of research that would indicate whether I was mistaken in my theory, the results were always supportive of the the theory.

Spermcells corollate to each mammals red bloodcell size without exception. All spermcells begin their lives as diploid 46 chromosome cells(spermatagonial cells) that are halved by meiotic divisions during the maturation process into haploid 23 chromosome cells.

If spermcells were not designed to cross over the blood brain barrier, then why would they all have neurotransmitter receptors on them without exception, these receptors allow the sperm to attach themselves to the zona occludens of the BBB in their millions.

Millions of spermcells complete with neurotransmitter receptors, millions of zona occludens with matching androgen receptors comprise the BBB.

All these matching keys and locks are not coincidental, they all indicate intelligent and purpose specific design by our maker.

In many ways it would be a huge relief to me to be proven wrong, that I was mistaken in thinking sperm and menstrual fluid could play dual roles in nature, but the research done to date indicates otherwise.

Getting this Gen 7 theory proven or disproven appears to be the goal of my life, and I have every intention of completing that goal before meeting my maker.

jomoco

I see you are still Trolling around.

One thing I forgot to mentioned yesterday is that while your wife is dying in the hospital as you stated, you spent 12 hours on this forum.
