I don’t get the menstrual blood part. Because when a woman is menstruating, she can’t become pregnant. Also the blood buildup in the womb is supposed to nourish the co-joined sperm and egg. I don’t understand what you mean about the blood barrier.
All the ingredients required to fully capacitate human sperm are contained in menstrual fluid, primary among them are humam serum albumin blood platelets and progesterone. Ovarian follicular fluid has been used in IVF procedures to capacitate sperm in laboratories for years, but has now been replaced by sperm capacitation swimup kits with the exact ratios of female hormones and blood albumin necessary to achieve fully capacitated sperm.
There’s a very good reason that the female egg’s zona pellucida slams the door shut once one spermcell has bound itself to the ZP and undergone the acrosome reaction, and gained entry into the egg.
The most common cause of miscarriage in women is when the ZP doesn’t close it’s door soon enough to prevent two acrosome reacted spermcells from gaining entry inside the egg and fusing with the egg’s 23 chromosomes. When this happens it results in a polyspermy zygote with too many chromosomes fused together(69) to achieve a viable fetus, and the result is a natural miscarriage, and for very good reasons.
But even this natural reproductive malfunction called polyspermy is proof that two acrosome reacted spermcells are quite capable of fusing together under the right circumstances and specific sequential order.
It’s important to remember that eyes, testes, ovaries and brain are all immune privileged grounds in all mammals, and that sperm begin their lives as diploid cells in the testes just like eggs in the ovaries are. That sperm once capacitated in the female reproductive tract will actively seek out the ZP of the female egg and bind itself to the ZP, then undergo the acrosome reaction to facilitate it’s entry into the egg’s interior and fuse together with the eggs nucleus is all well known documented reproductive knowledge.
The Gen 7 theory suggests that the immune privileged brain essentially acts as a giant female egg complete with millions of zona occludens with the same exact androgen receptors as the ZP of the female egg.
What Dr. Snyders invitro lab protocol will determine is the ability of fully capacitated spermcells to attach themselves to the BBB’s zona occludens, undergo the acrosome reaction, fuse together with nearby other bound acrosome reacted spermcells, and once again become diploid(46 chromosome) cells capable of crossing the BBB and effecting repair/renewal duties inside the brain.
Thanks for replying Christine 77.
