I have bought a item that had a mark up of 8000%’
because the item was hard to get,
In my eyes that is outright theft,
I really do not know who made this statement about an 8,000% markup - but, it wasn’t me, AthairSiochain!
tqualey your answer to Cynic – a typical landlord message, shows you are well aware of what you do,
blind greed rules,
If you just take the time and actually read the post, you will clearly see that I was asking Cynic a question - and not making any type of statement.
But, you know what … since you are so eager to tell us about blind greed and all of its combinations and permutatons throughout society, maybe you can answer this question: who or what third party determines when someone else is being greedy?
Keep it simple - you go and buy a loaf of bread and some milk, you buy a newspaper and pick up your clothes from the dry clearners and get some gasoline for the car on your way home. Take any of those common examples and let’s ferret out the greedy blind in this entire system.
At the risk of sounding nosey, I am curious about what you do for a living to keep you free from blind greed. You see, I am, among other things, a landlord - rent out the house the wife and bought and paid for many years ago and move on - and … now, I rent!
I’ll be waiting…
God bless
Tom
