On the other hand, as a guy with only an average sense of humor, I’ve noticed that women seem to have a natural attraction to the genuinely “funny” ones - from a competitor’s point of view it is quite obvious!

As an Aussie guy, when I was in Canada I found this very much to my advantage, as our everyday speech has Canadian women cackling anyway! I didn’t admit that I’m not considered “funny” at home…

You should consider taking at least a vacation in the US. Your accent alone could attract a lot of women.

I am of “that certain age” I was in college at the time and rarely went to movies. But I remember the outfit and the accent. Now if Edmundus visited the US wearing that outfit, there’d be no shortage of laughs

I think that exact thing might have happened to my dad (who, coincidentally, married my mom 45 years ago).

I am a non catholic but found myself exploring this site anyway. but I will play. Here is my list. It isn’t quite like yours, but there is someone for everyone

I am already happily married but here is my list: (it is my wife to a t !!)

1. Must be drop dead gorgeous
2. Kind hearted, sensitive, and very affectionate
3. Must accept the husband as head of household
4. Must be a good mother
5. Must be a Christian
6. Must be Faithful to me
7. Must not be a prude and must be a bit wild at times, must be able to keep up with my libido
8. Must not be overly modest, I like a girl that dresses a bit sexy and stylish and tries hard to look their best with hair make up, nails, etc. I love 5”+ heels and such. I am obsessed with lifting weights and I need a girl that looks better than me.
9. Must be secure in their appearance and sexuality and know what they want and be fun and a bit naughty at times
10. Must not be Catholic or at least very cafeteria as Catholic morals in a woman would make them less fun, full of unnecessary guilt and not dress as good. I want a woman who has similar values as I do. They must be Pro-life, libertarian leaning republican, who is very laid back sexually as long as it stays between spouses.

Hm, you must not know very much about Catholicism.

You know, as far as stereotypes go, Catholics used to be criticized in some circles for liking earthly pleasures (like sex and alcohol, and dancing) too much (meaning, at all.)

I know the catholic rules regarding sex and don’t follow them. I know the catholic rules regarding modesty and my wife don’t follow them. We are very noncatholic in the way we enjoy eachother.

I suspect you know less than you think you do. But that would the subject for another thread.

Catholics are not anti-sex or anti-pleasure, and there are no “hard and fast” rules for modest dress (though of course certain communities adopt their own standards, but these are not universal and if those communities suggest they should be, they are in error.)

I just have a differing of opinion. I have not been rude or vulger in anyway. The question was 10 qualitys in a partner. I gave mine. I was told I didn’t know church teachings but I do I just disagree with them

I’m curious how you resolve difference of beliefs on what is acceptable or not with yoir husband? I am just interested as I am married to someone with similar views and don’t know how that woild work.

Wife Helen would understand, she has no time for my humour ,
