Maybe he is a US citizen with the right to free speech.

If I worked for someone morally questionable, I’d expect my husband to let me know he disapproved.

But, I guess it’s easier to call him a “loser.”

I agree with your assessment. I was just taking the opportunity to point out yet Another example of a particular user’s apparent double standard

Free speech applies across all party affiliations,it’s not a one way street, both here and in the macro world. However seems those opposed to Trump feel differently.Having said that there is a faction of the Republicans can elites who resist all things Trump as well. GC falls to this catagory

Geroge seems to be indifferent to his wife. Marital vows do come first, but I’d love my wife enough to remain silent and not undercut her. His loathing of the President obviously outweighs his love for his wife and his commitment to being a supportive husband. But hey, its their marriage, and not one I envy. Have fun with that mess. I am fortunate my wife and I know how to behave and support each other, unlike GC.

I am sure he has let her know, and it could have been handled privatey. I’d also expect my spouse not to publicaly embarrass me repeatedly. But that’s my marriage. others may not care if their craps on the work they do all over twitter and the USA today. Sounds like a healthy marriage. GC has an ego that supercedes any committment he has to his marriage, unfortunately

I don’t recall Trump crapping all over Melania’s effort as First Lady. Did I miss what should apparently be an obvious comparison. GC clearly loves his own voice and opinion more than his wife. That’s a shame.

You’re right. I shouldn’t have made that judgment. But I imagine there are many couples with opposing ideologies that still are compatible.

Can you cite any instances where our President has been anything but respectful to our lovely First Lady,.🤨

I am sure this is true. In a way, I admire the ability to make that work.

No, I haven’t read the many books which have been written inside the White House. I took back my comment in case you missed it.

You can have opposing ideologies for sure (though I am not sure how, but it happens a lot more than you’d think). George Conway takes it to another level, and how she can look at him with anything but disdain is beyond me. He literally says “I really don’t at all about you, sweetie” every time he runs his mouth. But she married him, and I doubt he became a blowhard egomaniac in 2016. Same goes for Melania, Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, or any other spouse. Same goes for the men who marry caustic women. You don’t HAVE to marry that person…

You know, I have often thought about this. I believe he is showing great disrespect to his wife.
Of course he has every right not to like Trump, and to even tell his wife about it.
But to go on national T.V. and undermine her like that is just terrible, in my opinion.
If the shoe were on the other foot, and let’s say Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden were President, and she or he had a female adviser, and the husband was on Fox News at every turn complaining about the President and encouraging impeachment, what would the feminist movement be saying? Wouldn’t they be screaming to high heavens about a husband not supporting his wife?

Exactly. Ten characters. I really feel for her. He should support her in her career, whether or not he likes Trump.
