I wonder what the end game is here with this and other state bills.

Citizen sues state government
Some party loses case and appeals to Supreme Court
Supreme Court strikes it down
Abortion is now legal/illegal on a state by state basis

One of two ways this goes down;
Democrats get control of the federal government and simply pass a law making Roe statutory. Republicans get control and we have a continual tug of war.-this seems likely.

It becomes a state by state battle. Democrats will loose this one badly. I would guess something like 5 states or less would keep abortion largely legal. Most states that are overwhelmingly Democrat also have a large racial minority(read; religious). see below

In this case states that have a white, richer and liberal populace will maintain the legality of abortion; Colorado, Washington, Vermont etc.

However this might end if enough states pass a similar language for an amendment, and with a large sweep of Congress (and some Democratic support) they might get large enough majorities to make Constitutional amendment. Granted eventually states, and doctors will find a way around that. Which all goes back to the problem.

With 800,000-1mil abortions per year means there a lot of women who are simply fine with what they are doing and are not one of victims of the parents or boyfriends bullying. All these women will be very angry and attempting to find ways around this new legislation. It is just very sad.
