Can people please stop saying ¨The Catholic Church¨ is involved in all this? Its a group of Bishops that are doing this not the whole Catholic Church. The Catholic Church is one body of which Christ is the head and we as believers are individual members of that same body.

What you say is true, but the national conference of Catholic bishops does represent the Church, at least in that country.

And the German Conference of Catholic Bishops, as well as some German dioceses, own the publishing company.

Yes, I am aware of who owns the publishing company and its nauseating for me to think about it. I sent an email to the CDF at the Vatican expressing my disgust about the whole matter. You would think that these German bishops and their dioceses would actually want to uphold Christian moral values instead of promoting erotica that would lead others to fall into greater immoral behavior.

I am disgusted but will still pray for them nonetheless.

Please do not refer to some German Bishops as the “Catholic Church”.
Individual Countries Bishop Conferences have no authority or responsbility within the Church. They exist merely to assist Diocese Bishops , who individually have full responsibility for everything “Catholic” within their own Diocese.
Read the CCC.
Bishops Conferences are NOT the Magisterium.

What articles have you found to be proven false by LifeSite News?.

I have found several. The one that sticks in my mind involved the arrest of prolife demonstrators by Virginia highway patrol. I find them to be no better than any blog, producing more opinion than fact. I also note that they have no problem going away from the subject of pro-life news if they can nail Catholics, like in this case. I note that there are no specifics given as to what they call porn.

I do not agree with the Church owning any business that engages in questionable practice, if any business at all, but the title by LSN is typical of the way they exaggerate, sensationalize and slant their blog if it plays to their protestant base.
