I have yet to read that article, but, if one listens to Rush Limbaugh, soldiers call in &/or e-mail semi-periodically saying how appreciated they are over there, how much they do need to be over there, & how WE ARE WINNING THE WAR, do not let the media over here tell you otherwise.

I have a very good friend whose husband is serving in Iraq as we speak. He is right in the thick of things and we pray for his return soon. From what we hear, the Iraqis are very happy that we are there, and that the media reporting is way off the mark. There are fewer and fewer attacks as time passes, not to say that there are no attacks, but less frequent. Schools are being built. The infrastructure is taking shape, hospitals are reopening. Most of the violence is coming from insurgents that are not even Iraqi who had an advantage to a Saddam led government.
