I can’t.
He’s all I can think about. I know I need to let go. I know I need to move on, but he’s the only one i want to be with.
I though talking to him would help. Figure out exactly why it wasn’t working.
Turns out he’s still an awesome guy.
We broke up because he doesn’t want a girlfriend right now. I hate it, but I know that it’s just where he is in his life right now. If we got back together it would be something serious, and he’s still too immature for that.
Problem is we still care about each other a lot. I think if it were just me I could use the whole he doesn’t want me, so why waste time on him. But he does want me. This is hurting him as much as it does me. And he’s all trying to be the good guy and let me go because it’s what’s best for me and he wants me to be happy. But that just makes it harder to forget that he’s such a good guy.
We want to be together, but we can’t because we’re not where we need to be as people. And I know I can’t move on if I still think we should be an us even if not right now.
I want a real relationship that’s going somewhere, and I need a guy who wants the same things as me. But it wouldn’t be fair to get involved with someone when I’m still emotionally invested in my ex.
What do I do?
