Do any of you get scared easy if you watch something on TV that is suppose to be scary? I’m much more sensitive now that my faith is more developed than I used to be. Like last night I was listening to an old interview by George Lutz, the step dad from the real life Amityville horror movie. And although I kept crossing myself last night, and although I didn’t get nightmares, I felt afraid all night in my sleep. And I remember my dreams, they weren’t scary.
I also cried a few months back when someone in the house was watching Wise Guys, a mafia movie. I used to like it when I was younger, so when I came out of my room while it was on TV and went into the kitchen for something, and went back into my room, I knew that when Tommy was kissing his mom goodbye what was going to happen next. And why did that bother me? Because the whole thing was just evil. And when I say I cried, I mean my face scrunched up and I got that ugly cry.
Anybody else this sensitive after growing in their faith?
