Dear Brothers and Sisters,
St. Louis de Montfort in Chapter 7 of his treatise on “True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin” shares his “road-map” with us for our journey in paragraphs 227 - 231.
Today I’m highlighting words from these paragraphs to give a brief outline of how we can begin tomorrow and make our way toward Total Consecration to Jeus through Mary on the Feast of the Annunciation/Incarnation, Mar. 25:
Holy Spirit fill us with Your Love to Glorify God, through Mary our humble Mother.

Today is the Memorial of Saint Jacinta of Fatima – the youngest of the three shepherd children to whom Mary appeared. Let us pray to become as little children today that we may make this journey to Jesus through Mary and finish well.
- Those who desire to take up this special devotion… should spend at least twelve days in emptying themselves of the spirit of the world, which is opposed to the spirit of Jesus, …They should then spend three weeks imbuing themselves with the spirit of Jesus through the most Blessed Virgin. Here is a programme they might follow:
- During the first week they should offer up all their prayers and acts of devotion to acquire knowledge of themselves and sorrow for their sins….
- Each day of the second week they should endeavour in all their prayers and works to acquire an understanding of the Blessed Virgin and ask the Holy Spirit for this grace…
- During the third week they should seek to understand Jesus Christ better…
- At the end of these three weeks they should go to confession and Holy Communion with the intention of consecrating themselves to Jesus through Mary as slaves of love…
Holy Spirit fill us with Your Love to Glorify God, through Mary our humble Mother.
