Remember the old MSNBC show ‘To catch a Predator’? That was billed as being 100% real when it was on as well…yet not long after, even it was proven to be scripted and fake.

Dont you find it strange that at least a couple times on EVERY single episode, there is a scary moment or two, people screaming out, terrified, they hear a noise, see a shadow, etc etc…when it comes to REAL ‘ghost investigations’ teams may go months or years without finding or seeing anything, and its usually not as dramatic either…cmon. lol

I do believe that there are places that people from any belief background will tell you, heck, I’m not going in there.

Ghost adventurers goes to those places and investigates it.

Its called ‘smoke and mirrors’ in Hollywood, they have entire teams of people whose only job is this sort of thing, over the years they have become very good at making things seem real. They have all sorts of wires, pulleys, magnets, little electric motors, movement cylinders, etc. They can literally make anything look real on tv.

Could be, but I still believe some places are haunted. Like here in Dallas, parkland hospital, or the sixth floor were Kennedy was shot from. Just to name a few.

In my town, the big haunt is the Lemp Mansion. It’s now a restaurant and hotel. We ate there once and I was on the lookout for any paranormal activity by I was disappointed.
Still, people who work there and others who’ve been there swear stuff happens.

I worked at parkland recently. They moved to a new building on August 20. Two days later my friend and I get sent to the old parkland to pick up some chairs. We passed by the er. I told my friend let me check it out. He didn’t want to follow me. The lights were off and the doors were closed. I probably took 5 steps, man, it was an eerie feeling. I turned around instead.

My brother in law attended this university. One time he was studying in the basement of the library and says he thought he heard footsteps. Turned around…no one was there.

The only time I watched this type of show was for the Stanley hotel in Estes Park episode.

There might be a few spirits that are in purgatory that just need our prayers or a Mass said to be released…but most of these “ghosts” are likely demons.

Its actually very easy to tell, when you watch one of these shows you think is real, watch the credits after the show, slow them down if they are scrolled super fast, on those credits, you will see all the people involved in making that show, it includes writers, editors, directors, etc. If it was truly a ‘reality’ show, why would they need writers?

The credits will also show you the large teams of people responsible for the special effects on the show…if it was real paranormal activity, what were all these people doing to receive credit for the show?

And Ghost Adventures specifically have writers, directors and special effects people?

Im assuming it does, but I dont watch shows like that, watch the credits to find out…that will tell you for sure.

Sometimes though, its tough to read the credits, Ive seen many shows where they split the screen during credits and scroll them super fast and small, and draw peoples attention to the ad on the other screen. I guess you would have to tape it and slow it down, or try to find the credits online somewhere.

They have writers because the show/investigation that they present to the public is an hour long. They might spend a week there investigating, interviewing people. So yes, they need to have a format.
 
I have become skeptical of these “reality shows” ever since I read an article in the Chicago Tribune newspaper which said that in the show “House Hunters” the house-hunting couple has already purchased one of the houses they’re supposed to be touring, and sometimes the other houses being shown aren’t even for sale.

I watched part of the show tonight but didn’t see the credits. I did look it up online, looking for crew and all that came up was the people on the show.
 
I missed much of the credits but did see production assistant. Didn’t see writers but like I said, I missed most of it. They have a marathon going on so I’ll try to see it after this current episode is over.
