Gift offering for private RCIA classes?

Is there a tradition of offering a gift to a priest that has given private RCIA instruction to a candidate?

Dunno how you’d find out if he already has a copy, but the book Searching for and Maintaining Peace by Fr. Jacques Philippe is a wonderful little spiritual classic that is used by Priests and Bishops to guide them into peace in this troubled world.
