So this year instead of making a gingerbread house, I am making a gingerbread nativity scene. I was wondering though what would be the best appropriate, reverent way to dispose of it at the end of the season? Can it be eaten? Thrown out?
Just doesn’t seem right to waste it being edible, but it seems strange to think of eating some of the images (a cookie in the shape of baby Jesus)
Any ideas for decorating it?
