A 13-year-old girl has dug herself out of a muddy grave after being raped by two men who then buried her alive in Pakistan. … The men took the young girl to an isolated place and raped her and then buried her alive as they believed she died during the brutal attack.
But the girl managed to dig her way out the muddy grave and caught the attention of passers-by who helped her to a local medical center.

Many prayers are in order for this situation, for this girl, the attackers, and even prayers of thanks for this girl’s resolve.

That’s horrifying!

Poor girl. I’ll say a few prayers for her.

Man’s inhumanity to man never ceases to amaze me. It shouldn’t anymore, but it continues to horrify me.

God have mercy on them, and prayers for all involved. That poor young girl!

That is absolutely horrible! My prayers go out to her and her family.

This is one of the most horrific things Ii’ve read in a long time. Prayers for this girl that she may find some peace and not be scarred for life by this terrifying event, Prayers for her family to help her through this traumatic time and I pray for Justice to prevail with the attackers.

Mary

So thankful she was able to escape. God Bless this sweet girl and her family.

It’s good to hear of the good Samaritans that helped her.

It would be good to hear of justice being done in the case of her attackers.

It may be well for her to keep a LOW profile now. Perhaps take a trip from home in case
incidents like these below still happen to rape victims in that area of the world.

Hopefully things have changed in Pakistan since 1999 when a 16 year old rape victim finally escaped home from her abuse and (according to the article below) her village executed her to “restore ITS honor” !?!

Pathan area Pakistan’s NW frotier, 1999: Lal Jamilla Mandokhel never stood a chance. The 16-year-old was raped a month ago near her home in the mountains of Pakistan’s north-west frontier. For bringing shame on her village, she was publicly executed.
She lived in a land where the government’s authority ends a few metres from the roadside and where the only laws are those of the tribe and of the gun.
Her ‘crime’ was committed in a dirty hotel in the dusty Pakistani frontier town of Parachinar, a few hours’ trek along a mountain track from Afghanistan. Over two nights, Lal Jamilla was repeatedly raped by a man who worked as a junior clerk in the local government’s department of agriculture.
When her ordeal ended and she made her way back to her village, the elders, sitting in the traditional council or jirga, decided that only her death would restore the honour of the tribe. She was dragged from her home and shot in front of a large crowd.
The government is keeping the man who raped her in custody ‘for his own protection’.
Lal Jamilla’s case hardly made the local press. Such deaths are not uncommon. Hundreds of women and scores of men found guilty of adultery are shot in similar circumstances every year.
atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2012/07/video-rape-victim-executed-under-the-sharia-in-afghanistan.html < More recently, the Taliban did this last year, just across the border in Afghanistan. Video does not show moment of execution, but you hear the shots, see the crowd, and then a female politician from Kabul comments upon this practice.

This girl sounds very brave. I know that I couldn’t do something like that!

In Pakistan, she might want to keep a low profile.
Being raped is the kind of ‘behavior’ that will lead to charges of adultery or sexual immorality against the girl.

If the sharia courts get wind of this, her ordeal may just be beginning.

I was thinking the same thing. she has been very brave to survive this horrific attack, but considering how things are over there, her ordeal might not be over. I hope the world hears of this and sees that justice is done and she is guaranteed safety.
