Obviously it was From Left Wing Globalist University, where our goals are to implement globalism by stealing all the wealth from the corporate world and the rich and redistribute it through schemes like cap and trade and expensive regulations.Actually…these schemes of “solutions”…will have very little effect upon the rich corporations. The Schemes Actually steal the wealth from the poor AND give to the rich / power-holders.

It is you and I who will be paying for these schemes…it is the poor of developing countries who will be paying.

Liberals AND Conservatives …economists and environmentalists recognize and admit this.

If Cap and Trade schemes don’t address what they are “sold” as doing - Lowering temperatures - providing relief to the poor - environmentally sound…Then there is Truth to the claim of redistribution of economy. We have actually evidence of this in UN papers.

The UN has from the very start had an agenda of redistributing and abolishing sovereignty.
All one need do is read the UN history

ALL efforts since WWII have failed.

And then along strolled AGW.

Obviously any real scientist knows that as we place billions of tons of carbon polutants in the atmosphere and devour our forrest and vegitation that God will intervene fix it.

AN interesting read
Is the airborne fraction of anthropogenic CO2 emissions increasing?
  1. Conclusion
    [25] From what we understand about the underlying
    processes, uptake of atmospheric CO2 should react not to a
    change in emissions, but to a change in concentrations. A
    further analysis of the likely contributing processes is necessary
    in order to establish the reasons for a near-constant AF
    since the start of industrialization. The hypothesis of a recent
    or secular trend in the AF cannot be supported on the basis of
    the available data and its accuracy.
I KNOW - BAD FORM 😃

BUT Another find in this PDF
Another result of the study is that emissions from deforestation might have been overestimated by between 18 and 75 per cent. This would agree with results published last week in Nature Geoscience by a team led by Guido van der Werf from VU University Amsterdam. They re-visited deforestation data and concluded that emissions have been overestimated by at least a factor of two.
Michaels adds:
In other words, like we have repeated over and over, if the models can’t replicate the past (for the right reasons), they can’t be relied on for producing accurate future projections. And as things now stand, the earth is responding to anthropogenic CO2 emissions in a different (and perhaps better) manner than we thought that it would.

I can see this happening by power companies charging higher rates to offset these costs but there is an easy way to fix this. Provide energy subsidies to the poor and average wage earners. At the same time, congress can break up the monopolies of power companies and allow competition. This will ultimately bring energy prices down. Once energy prices have reached a price stabalization we can start to phase out the energy subsidies

More conspiracy theories huh? The Vatican has a UN Seat and an Ambassador to the UN. Are they in on this scheme too? The fact is the UN has never thwarted sovereignty of any country I know of. I believe the UN has been an effective means to keep the peace. Without the UN we may have had a nuclear war with the Soviet Union. The UN does a decent job keeping nations as a whole at peace.

CO2 is not a pollutant.
Ahhh but I did not say CO2 I said “carbon pollutants” which includes Carbon Monoxide (CO)
Physicists tracking the data have found an unexpected benefit of rising carbon dioxide levels. Dr. Denning says it’s unusual. “Stuff is growing faster than it’s dying, which is weird,” he says.Scott Denning, Ph.D., a physicist from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado
With this in mind - Why would you cut CO2 for the problem of deforestation?
Well if the data is correct and consistent upon further observational work then why would they? But if that is the case why don’t we have vegitation on Mars which has a heavy concentration of CO2 in its atmosphere?
No attack on CO2 addresses pollutants. Known Pollutants are actually ignored in the hypothesis of AGW - such as Black Carbon - It’s not even in the AGW models…
I was not aware of this. Its a good point.
The science is evolving — it’s so new that black carbon wasn’t even listed as a warming agent in the most recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Burning our forests and vegetation produces Black Carbon. See India.which produces approximately 10% of the worlds BC. The next is China.
sciencedaily.com/releases…0203161436.htm

We KNOW for a Fact Black Carbons effects on Temperatures.

Yet, AGW ignores little inconveniences such as these…
Perhaps its not emphasized enough but black carbons can be both caused naturally and by human intervention. The latter is probably the greater.CH2 is a greater suspect to global warming and CH2 is both an anthropagnic and natural cause. However, CH2 can be harnessed into renewable energy and burned off as a clean fuel. It is probably the greatest place we can start to solve a lot of our environmental problems and such technology represents great inovations that can lead to millions of new jobs and a cleaner environment. This brings us right back to stewardship of the environment.

If cap and trade provides a cleaner and healthier environment it will be worth the cost
Cap and trade isn’t about pollutants. It is a lie that has been sold… even Green Peace and World Wildlife Fund has spoken out about it.

If you wish to talk about pollutant control maybe we should investigate what exactly has been accomplished to control actual known pollutants in the USA and developed countries since 1985. Actual research needs to be done - because the AGW camp doesn’t want this known - they have tied ( to the average person ) the concept of Cap and Trade to limit CO2 as an environmental cause . That somehow CO2 is a pollutant ]. Remember CO2 is only considered a pollutant in the unproven hypothesis of AGW Models - NO PLACE in Nature is CO2 A pollutant.

An example: In 1985 Clean Coal Technology (CCT) Program. Since that time, the federal government has contributed more than $2 billion toward this program to make the burning of coal cleaner and safer. The coal industry has contributed more than $4 billion toward this goal. Resulting in 99 percent of the chemicals that can pollute the air and more than 95 percent of the chemicals that can cause acid rain are removed. AND Technology is continuing.

The UN Papers are here scribd.com/doc/37169187/Austria-Retreat-Papers
The link to those papers was within this link ] citizenlink.com/2010/09/09/united-nations‘new-plan-‘redistribute-wealth’-remove-sovereignty-barriers/

DID THE PAPERS CONTAIN THESE WORDS
Global Governance: “…the U.N. should be able to take the lead in setting the global agenda, engage effectively with other multinational and regional organizations, as well as civil society and non-state stakeholders, and transform itself into a tool to help implement the globally agreed objectives.”
Redistribution of Wealth: A drastic redistribution of global wealth, “nothing less than a fundamental transformation of the global economy.”…”The real challenge comes from the exponential growth of the global consumerist society driven by ever higher aspirations of the upper and middle layers in rich countries as well as the expanding demand of emerging middle-class in developing countries. Our true ambition should be therefore creating incentives for the profound transformation of attitudes and consumption styles.”
Climate Change: “…nothing is more crucial to preventing run-away climate change than lifting billions out of poverty, protecting our planet and fostering long-term peace and prosperity for all.”
Political Power Shifts: “Is the global governance structure, still dominated by national sovereignty, capable of responding with the coherence and speed needed? Or, do we need to push the ‘reset’ button and rethink global governance to meet the 50-50-50 Challenge?” which would provide clean water, food and energy to 50 percent more people, while reducing global emissions by 50 percent – all by 2050.

Ahhh lets see, in 1978 I lived in California and my Bell/AT&T phone cost me 20 dollars a month and it cost me 1.10 a minute to call my cousins who lived in Michigan. It cost me 9 dollar a minute to call my grandmother in Belgium. Today I pay 30 dollars a month for my phone service and I can call both those places for free!
They are dieing now…AND you want to burden them more?
This is rhetoric Kimmie. It would not be the governments fault for harming the poor, it would be the corporate world that pass these costs on. But other countries regulate power companies preventing them from raising their prices. So they cannot pass on the cost.
Cap and trade isn’t about pollutants. It is a lie that has been sold… even Green Peace and World Wildlife Fund has spoken out about it.
mmmmm, I have read some statistics over a 10 year period where cap and trade has cleaned up the environment by as much as 65%. So the poor in developing countries sould not have education, hospitals, safe infrastructures, technologies, employment… All that require cheap energy?
Once again utility companies are prevented from raising their rates without approval from civic governments. It would be easy to subsidize the working class and the poor’s energy cost while charging the higher income homes a more premium rate. There are all kinds of things we can do to protect the poor.
I had hoped by now to enlighten.

And this guy lied or made this up?
“There’s no question that the U.N. wants to have a say in the global economy,” Ruse said. “The way they get that is through agenda crisis –like the climate change crisis.”
U.N. officials blame major superpowers, like the United States, China and India, for the failure of its global climate change initiatives.
turtlebayandbeyond.org/author/aruse/

Austin Ruse has headed the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute

I Gave a second link that stated this from UN IPCC Offical
(EDENHOFER): First of all, developed countries have basically expropriated the atmosphere of the world community.** But one must say clearly that we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy**. Obviously, the owners of coal and oil will not be enthusiastic about this.** One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore**, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole.
For the record, Edenhofer was co-chair of the IPCC’s Working Group III, and was a lead author of the IPCC’s Fourth Assessment Report released in 2007 which controversially concluded, “Most of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations.”
As such, this man is a huge player in advancing this theory, and he has now made it quite clear - as folks on the realist side of this debate have been saying for years - that this is actually an international economic scheme designed to redistribute wealth.

Actually wrong. The Vatican has an observer Non Voting ] To the UN.

Vatican City / The Holy See
The independent papal state of 771 people (including the Pope) was created in 1929. They have not chosen to become part of the international organization.

Yet, all during that time till today Vatican has an observer at the UN.

Actually, The Vatican observer isn’t very well liked by UN officials. Why? Because he speaks out against desired UN policy. Do you think they UN ] Members would invite an Observer from the Vatican to a secreted meeting about sovereignty and redistributing economies?

seechange.org/media/A%20Cause%20for%20Concern.htm
Without the UN we may have had a nuclear war with the Soviet Union.
Surely, you are referencing the Cuban Missile Crisis?
If you are …then you might be mistaken in the role the UN had in it.
I give much credit to Aleksandr Fomin. Aleksandr Semyonovich Feklisov ] who proposed what became the basis for resolving the Cuban Missile Crisis: removing missiles from Cuba in exchange for a promise that the United States would not invade the island nation.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuban_Missile_Crisis

The actual use of The UN during this time was for MR Stevenson to be able to call out Soviet Ambassador Valerian Zorin AND show the Security Council the photos of Russia s Missiles in Cuba…

If you are talking about te Fall of the Berlin Wall - Much credit goes to Holy Father John Paul II writespirit.net/authors/pope_john_paul_ii/pope_john_paul_fall_berlin_wall/
The UN does a decent job keeping nations as a whole at peace.
Granted, but that isn’t what was discussed.
Well if the data is correct and consistent upon further observational work then why would they?
Well it’s consistent enough that Growers have LONG injected high levels of CO2
Levels of 800 - 1800 ppm have proven to be optimal for the majority of crops grown under protected cultivation and having CO2 monitoring equipment then becomes important to make sure this level is reached and maintained. CO2 enrichment will have its greatest effect on accelerating photosynthesis and growth where other factors are also optimal
quickgrow.com/gardening_articles/co2_enrichment.html
But if that is the case why don’t we have vegitation on Mars which has a heavy concentration of CO2 in its atmosphere?
Middle school taught me no known forms of life can survive direct exposure to the Martian surface, with its extremely cold, thin air and sterilizing radiation???

You have enlighten me Kimmie in some areas. But I have not used any ad hominems towards you. I have questioned your motives which IS NOT and ad hominem. Pax Christi,

David
I have mentioned at least twice to you….I’m a kid.???🤷🤷

I’m not a Democrat - Republican - Libertarian.

I get an allowance for chores I do.

Asking you again, What motive do you think I have?

What is the distinction between global warming and climate change?
I think these terms are being used interchangeably for this current warming, even though climate change could refer to a wider range of phenomena, such as cooling, as during “snowball earth.”

Also, some people like “climate change” for what’s happening now, because more than warming is going on – there are increasing droughts and increasing precip in various regions.

At first the term “greenhouse effect” was used back in the 80s and early 90s.

All of these terms can also be used for “natural” climate happenings, so the more precise term would probably be “anthropogenic climate change” or “anthropogenic global warming,” to distinguish what’s happening now from past episodes. And that is important, not only bec people are causing it, but also bec it is happening a lot faster than in the past (that is, the amount of CO2 accumulating in the atmosphere), so while we can use paleoclimatology to understand what might happen this time – as when 90% of life died out during the end-Permian extinction some 251 million yrs ago – we really are in uncharted territory.

Scientists also point out that unlike in the past, the sun is brighter, so we could actually be headed for a “venus syndrome,” tipping the world into permanent runaway warming, ending all life of earth.

But because some people don’t understand what “avoiding the false negative” means, it looks like the world will not be addressing this issue anytime soon enough to prevent it.

I gave you a link…
The break-up of Ma Bell in 1984 had a goal of greater efficiency, lower prices and more rapid technology development thanks to competition. It’s been 25 years since Judge Harold Green ended AT&T Inc.’s monopoly of the phone business, and while the industry has indeed seen unprecedented innovation, the state of competition continues to fail the consumer. Because after all, like the mercury-like Terminator in T2: Judgment Day, you can break Ma Bell apart, but it always seems to come back together. And it’s after you.
AT&T in 2009 looks a lot like AT&T in 1984, only bigger (motto: “local, long-distance and now introducing wireless!”). It’s also more global and more capable. In fact,** Ma Bell in general is back, albeit in a three-headed form that comprises the powerful Verizon Communications Inc., Qwest Communications International Inc. and AT&T itself.** It raises the question: Is there still room for competitors? And what should those competitors look like? A look at history could lead to the answers.
This is rhetoric Kimmie. It would not be the governments fault for harming the poor, it would be the corporate world that pass these costs on.
Do you know where the Cap and Trade monies go to?
Cutbacks in health, education and other vital social services around the world have resulted from structural adjustment policies prescribed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank as conditions for loans and repayment. In addition, developing nation governments are required to open their economies to compete with each other and with more powerful and established industrialized nations. To attract investment, poor countries enter a spiraling race to the bottom to see who can provide lower standards, reduced wages and cheaper resources. This has increased poverty and inequality for most people. It also forms a backbone to what we today call globalization. As a result, it maintains the historic unequal rules of trade.
globalissues.org/article/3/structural-adjustment-a-major-cause-of-poverty
But other countries regulate power companies preventing them from raising their prices. So they cannot pass on the cost.
We do too
What FERC Does
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, or FERC, is an independent agency that regulates the interstate transmission of electricity, natural gas, and oil. FERC also reviews proposals to build liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals and interstate natural gas pipelines as well as licensing hydropower projects. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 gave FERC additional responsibilities as outlined in FERC’s Top Initiatives and updated Strategic Plan. As part of that responsibility, FERC:
Regulates the transmission and wholesale sales of electricity in interstate commerce;
Reviews certain mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions by electricity companies;
Regulates the transmission and sale of natural gas for resale in interstate commerce;
Regulates the transportation of oil by pipeline in interstate commerce;
Approves the siting and abandonment of interstate natural gas pipelines and storage facilities;
Reviews the siting application for electric transmission projects under limited circumstances;
Ensures the safe operation and reliability of proposed and operating LNG terminals;
Licenses and inspects private, municipal, and state hydroelectric projects;
Protects the reliability of the high voltage interstate transmission system through mandatory reliability standards;
Monitors and investigates energy markets;
Enforces FERC regulatory requirements through imposition of civil penalties and other means;
Oversees environmental matters related to natural gas and hydroelectricity projects and other matters; and
Administers accounting and financial reporting regulations and conduct of regulated companies.

Kyoto was Feb 2005
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol .

RESULTS
The Kyoto Protocol (brought up by Clinton, signed by Gore, and voted down by the Senate by a 95-0 vote) was supposed to be a first step in reducing greenhouse gases. Have those countries that signed Kyoto actually lived up to their obligations? NRO has a story on this topic.

Promise: 5% below 1990 levels.
Result: 27% increase.

Question: would it have succeeded (if we only had tried harder!!)?
Answer: A reduction of 0.14°F over 50 years.
Cost: Trillions spent for not much benefit.

wattsupwiththat.com/2011/08/24/nasa-notes-sea-level-is-falling-in-press-release-but-calls-it-a-pothole-on-road-to-higher-seas/
So what’s up with the down seas, and what does it mean? Climate scientist Josh Willis of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif., says you can blame it on the cycle of El Niño and La Niña in the Pacific.
Willis said that while 2010 began with a sizable El Niño, by year’s end, it was replaced by one of the strongest La Niñas in recent memory. This sudden shift in the Pacific changed rainfall patterns all across the globe, bringing massive floods to places like Australia and the Amazon basin, and drought to the southern United States.
For comparison:
6mm drop is about 480 cubic miles of water while all the worlds rivers are about 509 cubic miles of water.

That’s what I love about the AGW hypothesis…If it’s rising it’s AGW Because ENSO - well… just doesn’t fit our hypothesis ]

BUT let it go down - It’s ENSO El Niño and La Niña ] :D:D

Maybe it’s one of those false negatives - cause the false positive data in the IPCC AR4 WG1 Models - says sea levels are rising.🤷🤷

I wonder why the Models didn’t project this drop…It isn’t like El Niño and La Niña are not known??? ;)😉

CERN’s CLOUD experiment provides unprecedented insight into cloud formation
CERN’s 8,000 scientists may not be able to find the hypothetical Higgs boson, but they have made an important contribution to climate physics, prompting climate models to be revised.
The first results from the lab’s CLOUD (“Cosmics Leaving OUtdoor Droplets”) experiment published in Nature today confirm that cosmic rays spur the formation of clouds through ion-induced nucleation. Current thinking posits that half of the Earth’s clouds are formed through nucleation. The paper is entitled Role of sulphuric acid, ammonia and galactic cosmic rays in atmospheric aerosol nucleation.
This has significant implications for climate science because water vapour and clouds play a large role in determining global temperatures. Tiny changes in overall cloud cover can result in relatively large temperature changes.
Unsurprisingly, it’s a politically sensitive topic, as it provides support for a “heliocentric” rather than “anthropogenic” approach to climate change: the sun plays a large role in modulating the quantity of cosmic rays reaching the upper atmosphere of the Earth.
snip ]
“We’ve found that cosmic rays significantly enhance the formation of aerosol particles in the mid troposphere and above. These aerosols can eventually grow into the seeds for clouds. However, we’ve found that the vapours previously thought to account for all aerosol formation in the lower atmosphere can only account for a small fraction of the observations – even with the enhancement of cosmic rays.”
