I remember reading in the 1970s about how the world would run out of oil by sometime in the 1990s. Guess what? Oil is still being found.
Plus the use of oil is not specific to the auto.

Same issue I have found in much other data that purportedly supports Global Warming:
If they are only looking at a pattern that young, how do they know this is not a natural cycle? Satellite records are not that old.
Sorry, but you can’t look at records that young and convince me that anything abnormal is going on.

You did know that burping worms are partially to blame for global warming, right?
So…what next?
If we launch a campaign to reduce the numbers of these dangerous worms, thus reducing global warming, it is only a matter of time before a bunch of scientists declare that the reduction in this worm population has disturbed the local ecosystem.
So then these little fellas become a protected species, and start churning out more greenhouse gases again…and a bunch of scientists declare that we need to do something because they are getting out of control.
Talk about a self-sustaining system.
The only thing about the climate that DOESN’T change is the fact that there will always be people threatening doom and gloom if we don’t follow their advice.

Politically correct, as it may be, the evidence shows carbon dioxide, most of it man-made, is driving warming. Reality is not obligated to comply with political consideration.
It’s hard to believe anyone honestly believes that. You’ve never seen the two models, have you?
No. For example, in the Nothern Hemisphere, we are actually closer to the Sun in the winter.
No. Would you mind looking it up and learning how it actually works? The tilt of the earth remains the same, but the sun is on a different side at different times.
They have entirely different models for weather and climate. You need to learn about this, if you want to talk about it.
You could be sincere, but that is a very uninformed belief.

Nice try Valke II. When the temperature substantially went down in 2008 you and your people say global warming is speeding up. Do you think we’re stupid? A recent survey showed only 4% of the populace believe the global warming scam. Also the Antarctic has record amount of ice.

The year 2008 was the ninth hottest on record. If you think that’s “cooling”, I believe we’ve located the difficulty. And January 2009 is in. The fifth hottest January since we started keeping records. And this is in the face of a profound sunspot minimum, and a La Nina. It should have been dramatically cooler than normal. And here we are with a hotter than normal year and month.
Let’s say “uninformed.”
According to Gallup, 61% think global warming has already begun.

Which was predicted by the warming model. Warming should increase precipitation at higher latitudes, and it has. The IPCC says:
Current global model studies project that the Antarctic Ice Sheet will remain too cold for widespread surface melting and is expected to gain in mass due to increased snowfall.
There’s a troubling issue with that, too. It appears that the accumulation isn’t as much as the model predicted, which means more melting, and overall less ice in Antarctica than expected.

Newton’s apple is the same as Adam’s,he give himself a choice he did not have and unfortunately his view dominates.The fact that any reasonably intelligent person is suppose to spot the difference immediately between the imaging of the motions of the Earth solving the backward motion without appealing to a hypothetical observer should have sparked some interest here but it hasn’t.
Without a clear idea of how the motions of the Earth are derived from observing the celestial arena you can bet that they have no idea regarding climate which relies on the motions of the Earth and the central Sun,besides, you have basic trouble with daily rotation,leap corrections and other basic astronomical things.
People can no longer reason properly for if there were genuine scientists here they would have spotted the major mutation of Newton or rather his distortion of the great Western heliocentric insight.You have no reason to complain,the Church may now be an Arian Church on its way adopting separate edifices of religion and science thereby finishing the process which began with Newton.When that happens the Church goes from Arian to anti-Christian for as the Christian saying goes - no man can serve two masters.

I spent last year bicycling to work everyday. (Why? Because I enjoy bicycling.) In Oregon there was snow on the coast range into late May. I have never seen that before in my 42 years. (My source is my daily bicycle journal - if you care to know.) As well I was constantly wearing at least 2 layers (tops and bottoms), and boy was I wishing for some global warming let me tell you
. It was not like the winter back in the mid 90s where I bicycled to town (Monmouth) to swim and could wear a simple sweatshirt and shorts (during the day). No rain gear was needed that winter. It was very odd.This past December I saw 10 consecutive days of snow. More days of snow than there were of rain, unheard of in Oregon.
Please define ‘we’. As I am not sure to whom you are refering.
