God and his sinlessness

Please understand that I am not trying to blaspheme God. I am trying to understand him academically. I know He is beyond sin, that is a given.

Why is God beyond sin? Why it is not possible that God will ever sin?
If the answer is that God is beyond sin because he is; that is his nature, then why we, created in the image of God sinned? And how God is ensuring that we don’t sin later?
 
Sin is that which is displeasing to God, or which counters His commands. We know that God is all good. He contains all good is is the originator and source of all good. God cannot violate His own nature, as to do so would require Him to become less than He is. Remember that evil is not the opposite of good, but rather a lack of it.
 
I don’t know if I can give you the answer you want…but this is how I answer it.

God created heaven. God created the Earth. He created all things seen and invisible, He created the entire universe and everything in existence. It’s a hard concept to grasp, but if God hadn’t willed for the smallest microscopic piece of substance to exist, it wouldn’t exist. God IS and always WAS and always SHALL BE.

God cannot sin since He is almighty, and the only one God. Therefore, He cannot err or make mistakes.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit: three in One, three seperate divine persons but yet One God and One Lord.

Hi.

To go with other answers here, I see that your question implies a “God is just a bigger version of us” worldview. He is not.

God is God…an always existant, immovable, extra-temporal, omniscient and omnipotent being so unique that, unlike a rock (one being, zero persons) or a human (one being, one person), He is one being with three Persons.

God’s very nature is that of Good, based on what He has revealed of Himself to us, just as the specific alignment of cells, water, flesh and blood are what make a human a human. His substance as God cannot be anything else any more than we can transform our flesh and blood into a bicycle while still keeping our human person.

God can appear in different material natures while still keeping his Person. Christ is that very example. Christ was/is the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, all God and all man. His form as the Blessed Eucharist is another example.
 
I forgot to mention – we do not understand God in his fullness, and we won’t. Not until we die and hopefully go to Heaven. He only reveals to use what he wants – through His Church 🙂

Brethren,

I think we will understand God when we are in our judgement in front of him.
 
God gave us free will to obey him and to love him.

The decision to sin is the worst use of free will that we can make, it’s the worst thing we can possibly do.

we should obey, in love of God and our fellow human beings, because it is commanded and demanded of us.
 
Funny Question. God is beyond Sin as he is GOD. That it. Simple as that.
