In other news, that same article mentions that the pope blessed the eyes of a little girl from Mansfield, Ohio. Her eyes and ears have a disease that hopefully will be cured. I happen to live in Mansfield, Ohio and I think I know which church she goes to. 🙂 👍 I didn’t know they went to see the pope though, that’s awesome!

Lol. In my case, it didn’t feel very good at first.

Why God initiates some into His relationship via ineffable love and others with seeming terror is a testament to the complexity of the human heart.

“Jesus makes visible a love open to everyone — nobody excluded — open to everyone without bounds,” Pope Francis

Some how these words are problematic for some Catholics.

I don’t think it’s a problem. I guess it would not hurt to add “but we must accept His Love”.

Too true. Many of the powerful things Pope’s say are problematuc for the ignorant. I mean, look at what people think of what JP 2 said in Familiarias Consortio or Paul VI in Humanae Vitae.

It is truly sad. 😦

Could you point out the some Catholics that found these words problematic?
