God has no potentiality - so He can't take on a human nature?

So there is no way for them to absorb more knowledge and understand more of what they did not understand on earth?
They are in a Beatified state, contemplating God. That is a changeless state of Beauty and contemplation. An eternal state of being is immutable.

So they will not be able to advance and attain new knowledge? The Catholic heaven varies quite a bit from the Jewish heaven where good souls might be rewarded by being able to have conversations and discussions with some of the most creative people who existed on earth and so their knowledge would be able to advance considerably in the Jewish heaven. I would ask St. Peter if for permission to go to the Jewish heaven where some of my questions might be answered or at least discussed and I could learn more about various issues and concepts, such as for example, the mechanism behind high temperature superconductivity and how it varies from the low temperature version or whether or not the continuum hypothesis is true or false. the status of the Riemann hypothesis, whether odd perfect numbers exist, whether the digits of pi are random, the neuroscience of free will, the limits of understanding thinking as a form of computing, the explanation of butterfly migration, interpretation of quantum mechanics, is there a big bounce, why is there more matter than antimatter, is quantum gravity theory possible, the relation between dark matter and supersymmetry, whether or not the fractional quantum hall effect can be explained by nonAbelian fractional statistics, etc., etc. I would not be too interested in being frozen in an immutable state.

They will advance in new knowledge. The contemplation of God is a continuous revealing of the mystery of God yet the end of said mystery remains eternally covered. Infinite mystery. I believe it’s much like children especially toddlers who experience the joy of discovery everywhere they look. The sense of awe they enjoy as the vision of reality unfolds in it’s newness to them.
why is there more matter than antimatter, is quantum gravity theory possible,
Most of that stuff you would ask to know is Greek to me. I did read something of an answer to the matter antimatter question.
This theory states that matter and antimatter emerged simultaneously as two opposing singularities. Equal in energy and every thing else this is the cosmic struggle for the universal act of matter. Absolute equality must not be true since one of them is what we are and the other is this dark mysterious ‘other’ stuff…The irony is…we can’t tell if anti-matter or matter won the struggle. No matter which canceled out the other, to us it is the matter we know and would naturally call it matter and the other anti-matter.

You mentioned dark matter and super symmetry and it reminded me of the now falsified teaching of the earth being at the center of the universe. I was reading an article on all the different types and distribution of matter and energy in the universe. The majority of the matter is dark matter not a directly observed material and a kind of nothing stuff even though it is most of the matter in the universe. next is the cosmic dust that condensed into the first elements that became the fuel of the fist stars and Galaxies. Hydrogen and Helium are a step up in nobility and sacrifice themselves to be consumed by fire and become even more noble elements. Gold and silver and you probably know more about that than me. There is less H and He than dark matter. Less of the noble elements. Somehow these elements became organic matter and the least in quantity yet the noblest of matter. This is the center of the universe. as organic matter is lifted up to plants animals and man the Earth is in this way of thinking the center of the universe again.

How is it possible to advance and yet still remain immutable?
It’s not absolute immutability like God. All creatures are mutable in some way A soul Glorified is immutable in that the soul receives divine immutable qualities of God. Like the beatification of the soul is immutable. Essence of things is immutable. But it isn’t a property of any creature. God’s covenants are immutable even though He threatens to remove them. The Natural Law is immutable. Human nature then is immutable… A movement if it doesn’t change proceeds immutably. I think it’s the conception of changelessness that is confusing about immutability. If a creature is changelessly Holy it’s holiness is immutable.

The contemplation of God face to face is a changeless state of knowing God in increasing fullness and that is an eternal immutable state of being.

It is a question. If God is changeless, how can He take on human nature? 3000 years ago, God did not have a human nature. However, 2000 years ago, God did have a human nature. But God is changeless.
To quote one of my favorite songs by Blind Willie Johnson “God don’t never change. He’s God.” God crashed into time and space to reveal himself in Jesus.

When I started RCIA, I had a similar question because I wanted to be sure that the God of the Hebrew Scriptures was the same as the God of the New Testament. Well, I had a lot of questions. Praying the rosary is/was the path to understanding, especially when I concentrate on the Glory Be to the Father prayer. At some point being in a relationship with God requires a glorious leap of faith. Taking that leap has certainly has made me a better person.
