Are u familiar with prophetic rabbi Johnathan cahn books and teaching on Gods warning of judgement.

He is preaching all over america

If so what do you think??

Also never heard of him. Though it is not a mystery as to what happens to nations which turn away from God.

Never heard of him. Warnings based on good intentions are welcome.

However, things to watch for in our faith are presumptions made that call De Fide doctrine in question. They present alternate explanations or confusion to future converts, and for them only serve as baggage/free radicals that have the potential to delay progress in their conversion.

Read the book yes. Found it to be too repetitive after the first chapter(end of the world blah blah blah, cedar tree blah blah blah) Just glad I didn’t spend money to read it.

If god didn’t do anything to America for the 400 year enslavement of Africans…
If god didn’t do anything to America for the genocide of Native Americans…
If god didn’t do anything to America for the false imprisonment of Japanese citizens…
If god didn’t do anything to America for our treatment of black Americans during the Jim Crow era…
If god didn’t do anything to America for how we treat the poor and destitute and alien…

Then I’m not really worried about what it’s going to do now.

Somebody came forward and pointed to all the ‘holes’ in his statements. He finally admitted he was using the blood moons to get Jews to leave Christianity and return to Judaism.

Interesting “Ifs”. I wonder, is it really true that God didn’t do anything?

Perhaps someday we will see that God wasn’t silent in all that, but that we just stopped up our ears so as not to hear.

The whole arguement that we are “still here” proves God is silent is so interesting. That’s like someone thinking “I just disobeyed one of the commandments last night by having an affair and God didn’t do anything about it so I guess I am free to do it again tonight.”

My understanding is that God is not willing that anyone should perish and that in His mercy He is extending the time for repentance and forgiveness but one day, maybe soon, the axe will fall and the opportunity will no longer be available.

I have read two of his books and while I have some questions I did find them interesting. He is Messianic Jew, which I think means he sees Jesus as the Messiah. To say he wants to see Jews who are Christian return to Judaism, is not quite accurate. He wants the Jews to realize that Jesus is the Messiah.

I think the bottom line is to lead believers away from Christ in the Holy Eucharist. That can have but one source.

Wannano…

I got the book as well…but it didn’t draw me. I know where the site is that made the points I shared here. Should return to re read them.

Thanks.

The book I liked the best was THE HARBINGER. The SHEMITAH was a bit fuzzy. I would be interested in the site as well.

I read the Harbinger also. Didn’t care for it or agree with the prophetic visions this guy has linking the events of 9/11 and Scripture. Interestingly, the book was given to me by my brother-in-law three years ago, who at the time was going through some transition from Protestanism to something else. Only recently I discovered he’s now involved with Hebrew Roots beliefs. I’m sure this book only validated his thinking.
