I am concerned about the soul of a loved one.
He is a non-married catholic who is now engaged to a divorced non-catholic. He was engaged to someone else when they met (a 3 year relationship). They started seeing each other and he was lying to both females. He seems to think that it was God’s will that he met this other woman. He has only known her a short time and became engaged to her 2 months after he became unengaged to the first woman.
He did not tell the first woman himself, the other woman contacted her.
It worries me that he believes that this other woman was God’s will. I am confused and need clarification on how to determine if something is God’s will or if it is just temptations to keep us from doing God’s will.
Please, any advice would be helpful. He is currently deployed and I am so afraid what would happen to his soul if he died suddenly.
