Please pray for a woman named Gertrude who has macular degeneration. It has progressed and even though she is going for those needles in her eyes (ugh!), her sight seems to be getting steadily worse.

Pray that God won’t allow her to go totally blind. She is almost 90 and lives alone. A very independent woman, and this is so hard for her.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with theee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

St. Lucy, pray for us!

Santa Lucia pray for her, through the merits of our Lord’s holy Wounds.

“Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal those of our souls.”
“My Jesus, pardon and mercy, through the merits of Thy Holy Wounds.”

St. Luke the physician, pray for us.

Lord, your servants suffer to know your glory; hear our prayer: we love you. We know you are God. May your will be done so that evil does not tempt us, so that we may live good in your arms.

All glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

Thank you all for your prayers for Gertrude. I said a prayer for each of your intentions. God knows what they are. God bless.

Merciful and loving Lord, You conceived of Gertrude from all eternity as an irreplaceable part of Your Divine Plan. You alone have sustained her through a long life which leads to Your gate. May she acknowledge Your love, presence and help, just as you are leading her to accept the love, presence and help of those around her. Open the eyes of her heart to see that needing help invites love into her life. Reveal to her that You remain strong when she is weak, and that she may always rely upon Your love of her. Grant great skill and compassion unto the doctors, nurses and all who care for her, so that they may reflect Your love. Graciously incline your ear to hear the intercession of Blessed Jesus, Who sits at Your Right Hand. May our prayers be joined with those of the Angels and Saints to form an endless petition for mercy on Gertrude’s behalf. We ask this through the same Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Dear Hevenly Father, bless Gertrude who is losing her sight, may you not take all the light from her eyes if it be Your Holy Will!

Asking for the intercession of St. Raphael, St Lucy, St Clare for an improvement in her eyesight…

Thank you all so very much for your prayers. They are especially appreciated by me, as I know if her eyesight gets much worse, her children are planning to move her to a nursing home. Gertrude does not know this, and she’s such an independent lady who has lived in her own home, alone for so many years and likes it that way. It would break her heart.

God bless each and every one of you, and may He let His blessings fall upon you. :byzsoc:

Oh Heavenly Father, you are a miracle worker…and I believe in your infinite power.
We pray that you put your hands in this situation and deliver your daughter.
We are thanking you for you peace and mighty hand!

This would break her spirit and shorten her life! Please advise them of homecare alternatives that are available. She is not an unused item to be placed in storage! Praying for her and her children.

Christ’s peace.
