WWW.CALLEDtoCOMMUNION.COM has many superb apologists, including Bryan Cross and David Anders.

Also, Dave Armstrong’s Biblical Evidence for Catholicism Blog.

Just watched Dr. David Anders being interviewed by Fr. Mitch Pacwa on EWTN. Impressive.
Also, Patrick Madrid, Dr. Ray Guarendi, John Martignoni and Hector Molina.

Just heard John Martignoni’s conversion story on youtube. Great sppech, I know we have alot of Apologetics out there. I hope these guys with our help and the Holy Spirit they can help our religion get stronger.

Fulton Sheen, of course–perhaps considered “old school” apologetics to some but a genius able to explain Church teaching to ordinary people.

And G. K. Chesterton whose predictions about how Western society would unravel into hedonism, made in the 20’s and 30’s are breath-takingly accurate. His “Orthodoxy”, “The Everlasting Man”, and “The Catholic Church and Conversion” are classics of apologetics, as are all his writings.

In terms of being excellent “explainers” or condensers of difficult theology/philosophy, Peter Kreeft and Ed Feser are up there. Kreeft has more beautiful prose but Feser more ably tackles dry and difficult theological topics, like the natural law or the Five Ways. I can’t recommend them enough.

Incidentally, just got back from a day-long retreat with Kreeft in Austin. Got his autograph. Was wonderful!

Peter Kreeft can present a difficult topic with ease and is humorous. Chesterton is timeless. I also like Father Larry Richards. Though not specifically an apologist by reputation he is very passionate and delivers great speeches on Catholicism.

Fr. Bill Casey, C.P.M. You can get his tapes from St. Joseph Commincations. I’ve been borrowing his tapes from the parish library. In the most recent set I borrowed, someone put in a sticky note that says: “Father is awesome! So on fire for the Lord!”

Couldn’t have said it any better!

Patrick Madrid (asked him a question on his radio show today) very good

and Jesse Romero is good too

Sam Entile (Catholic Answer forum name MarcoPolo) I believe is an awesome apologist. You should check out his blog site, Catholic Voyager, and read his material. It is very good, and he makes it easy to understand.
