As many of you who have clicked on my links at the bottom of each of my post, you guys know that I spent 9 months going through dozen Catholic apologetic websites, bought another several dozens books and watched another handful of good Catholic apologists online. With that I was able to do a book that is 192 pages long, with 121 different topics and 5,200 Bible verses.

On the other hand I have never seen a debate. I know that I could go on youtube, and put Catholic Protestant debate and get tons of videos. But what I was wondering is if any of you guys, have seen or heard a good Catholic debate. Not so much that it was lopsided, but where the Catholic individual is able to answer each attack thrown at him.

The best debates are those in which both sides remain civil by sticking to subjects, not getting personal and ending not only peacefully, but friendly. The following link should lead to good, healthy debates conducted in manners we should all learn to follow. IMHO, the best ones are between Fr. Pacwa and a minister named White.

I have heard Tim Staples state that the debates between Fr. Pacwa and White were really good. Once again debates where it was not personal but where both sides presented their case. (I have heard that Fr. Pacwa was so good people who heard or saw the debate were impressed to not only fend any attack by White, but to counter and do it smoothly.

I don’t have any debate recommendations, but I highly suggest looking up the conversion story of Dr. Scott Hahn on YouTube! He talks about his journey to becoming Catholic (he had previously been a fiery Protestant) and along the way he talks about the common arguments against Catholicism, and how he personally overcame them. It is truly a remarkable thing to listen to! He is now a Catholic Apologiatr who teaches at a Catholic collegr, and is sometimes on CA radio! Hope this helps!
