I just thought this was an interesting insight into those “unofficial/wrong beliefs” held in other parts of the world…

From the International Herald Tribune:
It’s OK to take a bath this Friday, a Roman Catholic Church spokesman in the Philippines said in a news report, dispelling a widespread notion that bathing on Good Friday could bring bad luck.

Avoiding a bath on Good Friday is just plain, silly superstition.

Go ahead, take a bath, everyone.

Since I do not have to work tomorrow, I think I may skip a bath 😛

No baths on Good Friday?

What if you have really bad BO?

Not that I have bad BO…

No day is good for not taking a bath, and Good Friday is not different. If I were a priest, I would preach about hygiene from time to time, as it’s my impression that people generally don’t care enough.

There’s good BO???
Of course there is.
Everyone, after they shower, of course, has a natural smell, given off by pheromones. Most people don’t smell unpleasant.

Some people, however, are beyond hope…

I work in construction and the natural smells there are not pheromones.😃

I think I will go take a shower don’t want to be funky on a holy day, and I have to get up early to help set up the church for the vigil, so it will save time in the am. goodnite all.

Good night. Watch out if you go to bed with wet hair, though. Can look pretty scary in the morning.
