Hi!
You are doing the right thing!
Jesus said in the bible; “The eye is the light of the body, so if your eye is full of light then you are filled with all manner of good things, but if your eye is full of darkness, how great is that darkness!”
“If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out, for it is better to go into heaven missing one eye, than with the whole body be cast into hell!”
I see you are doing some plucking my brother,
What I do is;
Google “parental review of ______” (mention film or programme)
Also Use the imdb website or app,
Type in the film and click “parents guide” and it will tell you all the content in the film unsuited to children such as specific impurity or cursing (and WE are children of God),
Generally films age 12 and especially 15 age films have impurity and terrible language.
Please avoid impure tv / films! And confess if you have watched impure content. Its in the confession book guidelines, and priests giving a general walk through the commandments will ask, “Have you watched impure content on tv or magazines.”
Pornography has almost been desensitized on tv
Society may support things, but Jesus message is unchanging
You will also have to be.courageous.against otherstgat you watch.tv.with, or go to cinema with.
Make judgements of what you will not watch.and be.firm.
Look up the film online.before hand as mentioned.
You can tell them, “I would not like the film.” or if God wants.you to evangelise you could tell them why
Be careful, “Cast not your pearls on swine.”
People may not want to hear that its a sin to indulge in deliberate watching of impure content content

Where can I find TV show reviews that will let me know which shows are not a danger to my faith?
