Thoughts about all this? As a potential convert to Roman Catholicism, It would ease my conscious a bit if these accusations could be addressed. Because I’ll probably face these accusations from protestants I know who wish to keep me from converting.GQ is junk and anti-Catholic propaganda. Witness the fact that they assert that we are not Christians and are not saved, while leading people away from true faith. Complete bunk."Catholicism is a false religion. If a person believes what the Catholic Church officially teaches, he/she will not be saved…
…The Roman Catholic Church teaches many doctrines that are in disagreement with what the Bible declares. These include apostolic succession, worship of saints or Mary, prayer to saints or Mary, the pope / papacy, infant baptism, transubstantiation, plenary indulgences, the sacramental system, and purgatory…
…the Catholic Church also leads many people away from a genuine faith relationship with Christ…
… The Roman Catholic Church is not the church that Jesus Christ established…"

None of their doctrines are found anywhere farther back than a mere 500 years ago and the Catholic Church is the original, New Testament, “full Gospel” Christian church founded by Jesus Christ Himself over 2,000 years ago.
To me, one of the worst problems with GQ is that they are Bible only and that Sola Scriptura false doctrine is nowhere found in the Word of God. Nowhere, I repeat, nowhere does the Bible lay claim to being the final and ultimate authority for all that Christians believe and practice and the adherence to that belief has done nothing but divide Christianity into numerous sects, all of which assert that they are guided by the Holy Spirit and yet cannot agree with each other on their doctrines. How can that disorder be the work of the Holy Spirit? It cannot and so then that leaves only one other source for it…
Take a look at these 3 threads in which I sought to get Biblical support for Sola Scriptura from n-Cs right here on CAF and they could not provide it. You too are welcome to try again, but why reinvent the wheel?
If, SS is not found in the Bible then it violates its own premise and therefore even by it’s own false standards, cannot be a correct Christian doctrine.
