Wow–thank you for sharing that video. I am grateful the boy was saved and for such brave people and that this man was made a French citizen. :medal_military:

Thank you Father for the gift of another day .

And a hymn I have just posted reminds me , whilst always leaving the final judgement to the Magisterium of the Church Your Son founded , to thank you for Medjugorje and the good fruit being produced there .

Thank you for the bed I’m ready for , for the warm bedding , for the roof over my head .

Thank you dear God for rootcanal filling that seems to be working.
For the cold snap that is healthy .
For family that are safe 🙂

For a new job, after being unemployed for a total one day!
For a dad who is still alive and is restoring his relationship with me after years of estrangement.

Happy birthday, goodcatholic. I am grateful for birthdays for those of us who have made it as far as we have. I am also grateful that believers in Christ may go on to heaven.

I use a younger picture of myself in my blog. Is that a sin? 😊

I was grateful this evening to find there was still water in our rainwater tank. And that the rain will come in time to not need to buy water 🙂 Thank you dear God.

So many things every day, but here are 3…
  1. My faith that was nurtured from a young age by parents, family and school
  2. A roof over my head which is fully paid for.
  3. Bringing us home safely today as the roads seem to be chock a block with dangerous drivers!

Father , thank you that this day marks my 72 years of life here on earth .

Thank you for my loving parents , co-creators with you in my coming into being .

Thank you for all who have been part of my life in any way at all .

Thank you for life .

May I live the rest of my days in closer union with you my Beloved Father , I your beloved son . Thank you for that .

Thank your for the Eucharist I will celebrate shortly . Through it may I renew my consecration to the Sacred of of your Beloved Son , and may I always stay within that Heart .

Thank you , Abba .

  3. 20q deletion Myelodysplastic Syndrome (Marrow 26% MDS).
After defeating three cancers via God’s grace, I am delighted to be anywhere. Roll the calendar back to 2008 and I would do it again. The Lord showed me how cancer can be a blessing. Who else could do that?
