geometer,
Regarding…The septuagint is considered non authoritive by the Rabbinic community. Why waste your time?
Let’s think about this statement.
You, geometer, registered on a Roman Catholic forum.
You entered a Roman Catholic community more-or-less.
You read another’s post in a Roman Catholic forum.
Maybe, just maybe, that person is Roman Catholic.
Maybe, just maybe, that person is expressing their views which are going to contain, yes, Roman Catholic perspectives.
Now lets deduce something from the above.
Roman Catholic perspectives will be prevalent within this forum - this is very possible if not probable.
Roman Catholic perspectives may not *always *be identical to the perspectives of the Rabbinic community - very probable.
And you are seriously frustrated by this? That Roman Catholic views and Rabbinic views are not in perfect sync - this keeps you up at night?
Really, sincerely, what have you got against someone investing their intellect and their time into an endeavor of their choosing and sharing the result with other like-minded individuals? Really - this is what it boils down to - what is Copland doing wrong? Please, I ask sincerely, what’s wrong with this?
No one is forcing you to agree with ***anything ***on this entire site.
People have very different opinions - always have.
shalom,
Peter K
