No. I believe that in fact it’s ***progressives ***who have conveniently turned this into a ***political ***debate while trying, deliberately and successfully I might add, to completely remove or diminish any moral or religious aspect of this topic all together! While traditionalists are turning gay marriage into a moral, religious, and political debate, and treating the stories of LGBT individuals as objects to be scorned, MILLIONS of LGBT individuals are deep in pain.
.
Again, this is not us or traditionalists as you so often like to point out that is saying that homosexual acts are disordered. Instead it’s the CCC that speaks crystal clearly when it states; homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.”They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved. But remarkably, somehow you unknowingly or deliberately keep posting in direct opposition to the Church you proclaim to be a part of! And to top it off, you claim that this language “dehumanizes and marginalizes” but you conveniently fail to point out that the CCC also teaches that those with homosexual inclinations must be “accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided.” Whether this is deliberate or not…I’m not a mind reader. But many of us on here refuse to let you get away with polluting any potential lurkers with such outright falsehoods, who may be truly seeking to learn the truth about the Catholic Faith and have genuine intentions of joining the Catholic Church in the future.By claiming that their sexuality is “disordered”, you are basically saying that their very existence is tragic and immoral. Language like this only serves to dehumanize and marginalize others.
