Emily Murphy, the administrator of the General Services Administration (GSA), revealed Monday that she had received threats from those attempting to coerce her into approving the presidential transition of Joe Biden “prematurely.”

Earlier Monday, President Donald Trump tweeted that he had told Murphy to move ahead with plans for a transition, though he reiterated that he believed he would prevail in his legal challenges to the results of the election in several key states. . . .

. . . She added: “I did, however, receive threats online, by phone, and by mail directed at my safety, my family, my staff, and even my pets in an effort to coerce me into making this determination prematurely.” . . .

. . . On Sunday, CNN’s Jake Tapper told viewers that Murphy would be responsible for the deaths of Americans if she did not begin the transition process, ostensibly because Biden’s team would not have information necessary to distribute vaccines . . .

I thought the same thing.

But now I am hearing people tell me Marxists are proto-Communists on the web and I am getting better at expecting violent socetal tantrums from the leftists.

Especially with Atty. General Barr referring to many of these people as “Bolsheviks”.

With the way this is all playing out, I am wondering if Barr meant that less figurative than I initially thought?

I do not condone threats to one’s life or one’s family (including pets). But ‘prematurely’? She’s got to be kidding.
 
People on the web are not your best source of information. Insofar as AG Barr is concerned, we know that authoritarians’ worst enemy are Bolsheviks. The sooner “Trump’s fixer” leaves office, the better.

Which is why I did not take them seriously at first.

But that was before “The Summer of Love” came along.

The leftists themseves (by their actions) are the ones convicing me by their violent tendencies and authoritarianism.

I guess that’s part of the reason some of them go around wearing shirts featuring a murderer (Che Guevara shirts).

In a minute and a half, the ad manages to accuse Murphy of treason, sedition, supposedly defending “rooftop sex parties” and “alcohol ragers” at taxpayer expense, and somehow making it more likely that people will die by refusing to sign transition papers.

Many of these claims involve blatant misrepresentation. The “alcohol ragers and rooftop sex parties at taxpayer expense” claim is blatantly false. . . .

It’s very obvious when your dealing with people like this (the anti-Trump PAC Meidas Touch), you are dealing with people who are not concerned about truth.

Yes, the rooftop sex party was really only one official apparently one time. Although the IG report does say that Emily Murphy did allow drinking after hours.

Sigh, feels like threats have become the default response for some when things are not going as they’d like. When I saw the title of this thread, I glanced it as something containing GSS and Threats and thought it was about the threats that were sent to the Georgia Secretary of State and his wife; which is something that is also happening.

Do a thread search of the word “party” (or worse, “parties”) and you will see you were the first to use this term between you and I (excepting the actual article – not “my term” but the Biden-PAC people who were redefining the term and the report on THEM).

This Biden PAC had no business smearing this woman.
