Show me where it says that it is known that they were Mexicans. So, how can you say for sure from what is NOT known?

Our NG was armed and quite capable of defending itself. It was their job to be an observation post and inform the Border Patrol. That is exactly what they did. Armed authorities went in pursuit of those individuals, whoever they were, with the ability to engage and neutralize. How does that invite “further aggression”? Had they taken action against the NG then too they would have been forcefully engaged. That invites further aggression?
We are now a nation of over 300 million people. there comes a time when we have to slow down immigration. I am not opposeed to legal immigration, although I think that might need to be cut back too. I am definitely opposed to those who come here illegally. Unfortunately…there are many coming here who do not put back into society…they take from it. We are no longer a melting pot as we were during the days of Ellis Island…our pot is now running over…
Why? Can you give one arguement that doesn’t also apply to population/birth control, that we already know is immoral?
I still haven’t figured out how you come to your conclusions. How is our “pot running over”? There may be a time when we have to slow down immigration but NOW is NOT that time. They are the primary reason that we are not experiencing the decline that the rest of the Western world is experiencing. We needed their economic stimulus which provided growth in jobs and growth in purchasing power. We are looking at a time when our native population is living longer than ever before and birth rates have declined below what is necessary to run our infrastructure. Hence, the “illegal” have not increased our unemployment rate. The Hispanic population is the most important growth population in this country and you can be sure that the “illegal” contribute to that. So please thank your lucky stars that these people are here to fill jobs today and their children will fill future job requirements further up the ladder in the coming generation. We need Immigration Reform so that we can select those we want and decline those we don’t. What that means is greater numbers of “legal” immigrants and the most effective way is to keep those who can already meet our requirements and are already here.

I know what you are speaking of and I am over a thousand miles from the southern border. Last winter…my car was sitting in my driveway when a Hispanic woman slid on ice (going too fast) and slid into the back of it. It is a newer car and so the damages were steep. She couldn’t speak a word of English…had to use her nice cell phone to call a friend who showed up and started ranting at me because I wouldn’t let the woman leave…she was trying to get away…and the police were of NO help. It was private property and so they could do nothing…and that is in spite of the fact that the woman could not speak English, had NO drivers license and had NO insurance. I asked the policewoman how this woman could drive without knowing the language and what was I supposed to do. I was told that was MY problem. Nothing was even going to be done about her trying to leave. I might not even had known about this but my car alarm went off when she hit my vehicle. Sooo…this woman got off scot free. She didn’t get a ticket for reckless driving…she didn’t get a ticket for driving with no license or having no auto insurance and when the cop drove off this woman laughed in my face…as did her friend. I still see her driving through the neighborhood but by the time I call the cops she is gone. So, my insurance had to stand the cost of my repairs. RIDICULOUS!!
This state wants to give illegals provisional licenses that would enable them to get auto insurance…ha…fat chance. They know they can slide without it. LITERALLY!!
