Welcome on-line PenguinsFan. That was a name I voted for too. Boy those Steelers, so close, but the Penguins will make up for it.

I have only been on-line since the Fall, but I have learned a lot of great things and quotes. It will be great to have more manly-man opinions on board(No Offense WG).

We all grew up in Catholic Schools too. In Grammar School we were taught by Dominican Sisters from East Orange, NJ. Did you know of them?

Yea…I’ve always loved the Steeleres…and living in Texas and Louisiana most of my life makes it strange…love the Cowboys again though. I met a retire player in a group I used to meet with. aw–you and Malia are so sweet. My husband and I have looked at each other on several occasions, as we blurt out the same response to someone in the family, or while watching a tv show, etc… He will say…this is getting scary. We are now thinking alike…aaaahhhhh!!!

I consider myself a lucky woman indeed. We have had our ups and downs, but he has always been a patient and caring husband, and a loving father. Marriage actually gets better the longer you’re in it… I think so anyways.

Thx 4 the welcome, TIME. Reason I say 6 kids, is because we had our son despite following NFP. Think we need a class? Sharon assured me that NFP has “improved” since then, I don’t want to sound rude about it, but at my age, I can’t see having a another baby, let alone 6. God always gives us the resources, to do things we didn’t think possible.

Yea, we are too happy for words about Disney. It came at the right time.

Being from Pennsylvania you probably root for Penn State I presume? Have you ever seen the greatest sports movie ever made called SOMETHING FOR JOEY? Its based on the true story of 1973 Heisman Trophy winner John Cappelletti. Incredible movie.

Of course being in Florida is a huge NCAA state with the Gators and Seminoles. Do you ever go or watch those games?

I’m off today. Not sure if my wife mentioned this or not, but I got a new job at Disney, I start in about a week. We are both really happy, my career has had some pitfalls since moving here, but being in sales/business dev. at Disney, we are both really happy about it. I was feeling discouraged for a while, but I worked for Disney before, long time ago, and now to be back there, it feels like the best fit for me. My wife kept telling me to pray, we prayed together about it, she is a prayer warrior, I tell ya! But, God works thru our prayers, I know that, and see it in our lives.

We have talked about some of u, but I can’t remember names well, sorry! Make it a good one and thanks for all the replies here!

Seriously, welcome! I am your wife’s prayer partner, so I am one of the many people that has been praying for you recently.

We’re a hockey-loving family, too, but can’t really get away from it since my DH is Canadian, eh? I went to school in Steubenville, OH and spent many a weekend in Pittsburgh, even went to some Pens games (when they were playing the Leafs, of course!) DH and I spent our honeymoon night at the Mariott Metro Center across from Mellon Arena and we got a great view of the arena. I joked with him that only HE could manage to still be that close to a hockey game on his wedding night!

Not to hijack the thread but what year did you graduate from STeubenville? I have aunts, uncles and cousins (and one of my brothers) that attended there. They are all in their early 30’s. Just thought that you might know some of them

LOL–I never really thought about it, but probably? haha I picked it up living there, my husband always had it, because he was born and raised there…but, something else I picked up is…‘do you think?’ (at the end of a lot of things I say in everyday life) What an amazingly small world, mamacita, that your friend lived near Bethel…so ss simon and jude, she went to?? No way! I miss that parish so much.

I was going to get a wireless router for our son to play his video games ‘with the entire world’ LOL but it’s been harder than we thought it would be. I have a laptop for work, but I usually don’t bring it home. Look forward to your wife becoming part of our CAF family.

Nope, not Spanish. My oldest Ds actually gave me that nickname a few years back. You know how kids try to get your attention when you don’t answer right away to ‘mom’? So he said “hey, Mamacita!” and it has stuck ever since
