I know I shouldn’t but I sometimes watch Jerry Springer. I know it is a terrible show.
I like the way the show brings out into the open when someone is cheating. Then the person in the relationship atleast knows when the cheating started, how often and with whom and then can decide whether to continue in the relationship. Otherwise years go by and the cheating is hidden.
Last week one man said" I love you, but you have been cold to me since the abortion-oh I mean miscarriage."

Most country music has a good message although a few have a good deal of questionable content.I must admit I love to crank up Big & Rich.
The one country song that really gets on my nerves is that “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue” song by Toby Keith. His kind of patriotism we don’t need.

This doesn’t really count because I don’t feel guilty about it any more since reading Jimmy Akin’s blog on the topic of music, but anyway -

My extensive heavy metal collection, including Black Sabbath, Metallica, and even Angra. Might even look into some Angel Dust (gasp!)
Rock on dude! I love all those bands. I grew up listening to all those crazy rockers. Still do.

I heard that Tom Araya, the singer for Slayer, is a practicing Catholic. Also, my wife and I went to a Social Distortion concert a few weeks ago. The singer had one of those candles with the saints on it, and the first thing he did before they played was come on stage and light it. I’m not sure what that meant, but hopefully it’s positive.

Toby Keith has lost all respect he got from me when he was good over a decade ago when he started cashing in on the current state of the world by aiming songs at the lowest common denominator that likes their patriotism served up in easy sound bytes. Gag me with a cowboy hat.

That and he just isn’t very good anymore. He peaked at “Shoulda Been a Cowboy”.

theres too many to count…but a few are: Family Guy, Food Network, The Office and Elton John. I love Elton John’s music.

I guess I have another guilty pleasure then. I still love Toby Keith’s songs…including Red, White and Blue. But I don’t always agree with the sentiments of the songs. And from what I hear he doesn’t always agree with them either. But they are profitable. Oh well. Maybe that’s his guilty pleasure.

~Punk/Hard rock/Rap music…A lot of times the lyrics are a bit, um, unsavory but I listen anyway. :o

~(I like John Denver too. hangs head in shame)

~The Simpsons is great. 😃

~thesuperficial.com - hilarious but…definetly something a good Christian lady should not be reading. :o Much too gossipy and mean spirited.

I ove barbecue potato chips. When my wife aske me if I bought any at work I tell her no.

Shrek?

I just like to know who writes what I read or see. I saw the movie "Who’s afraid of Virginia Woolf? written by Edward Albee twice. He was a practicing homosexual and I found his female characters were off. Martha(professor’s wife) was overly nasty and Honey(wife of associate professor) was underdeveloped and mousy.

Buffy, Angel, Charmed…video games like Devil May Cry and Doom 3…louder music…uh…hmm. Chocolate frosting right out of the container. Also, melted chocolate chips with peanut butter melted with it. Stir it up and you have a delicious dessert!
