100 per, on the money.
What does God need with a weapon?Just ask yourself, “which tool of death would Jesus buy”?
I agree, so let’s adopt Switzerland’s gun laws here in the states. I realize those laws are more strict than what I proposed above, but if we both can agree to use the Swiss as a model, we would be better off.In Switzerland everyone has weapons,
Exactly what?Exactly!!!
He told them to buy the prevailing one of the day: the swordJust ask yourself, “which tool of death would Jesus buy”?
so did he condemn the solider? Does the church? And said “he who lives by the sword, dies by the sword”. He even commanded his disciples to put them down under threat.
we are also speaking 2 different gospels.Jesus was speaking a whole different philosophy of life.
He would just think about destroying Sodom, and it would happen (and it did) . If someone needed to die to protect the righteous , it would just happened.Just ask yourself, “which tool of death would Jesus buy”?
The church, even from the beginning, never taught that Christians could not serve in the military.Jesus was speaking a whole different philosophy of life.
This is historically not accurate. Christians in fact did serve, although it is more likely that more soldiers converted to Christianity than became soldiers after they converted. For the first few centuries of the church Christians did not become soldiers.
Apparently it is only Christians who don’t understand what Christ taught. Really? As Gandhi said “All religions know Jesus taught nonviolence except one”.
