Even if, gov’t bans all firearms. The wrong people will still get what they need to do what they want.
Having said that, no it’s not the gun it’s the person who pulls the trigger.
This is going to get someone upset, anyway, has anyone ever asked whose causing all this trouble?
When I say that I don’t mean men, or “disturbed” people or gangs (although many of these people are in them).
What “specific” group of men are doing this?
I know the answer, you won’t find it probably on most liberal news feeds, but is out there and it isn’t something you’ll want to hear but it is what it is.

You don’t understand. Among civilized people there is no reason to resort to violence.
who is it that doesn’t understand? does a civilized person kick your door down in the middle of the night and kill everyone in the house? Does a civilized person run-up to you as you are sitting on your porch and chew your face off? Yes, this happened in Florida. Read the paper it is full of uncivilized acts.
In revolvers there is no magazine which can be swapped in a few seconds.
they are called speed-loaders, you can get really fast with them. Google it

Many need crayon therapy after seeing one of these scary scary weapons:

Or this!

Okay last one. (Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

Oh my! That Honey Badger mod is the last straw!

I’d classify that gun as WMD (Weapon Of Mass Distraction)

Assault rifles cannot
do you realize these rifles make it feasible for the disabled to be able to defend themselves because it is so adjustable as to accommodate many personal limitations?

they also can be adjusted for the young, the old, male, female, etc.

shown above in 2017 only 403 people were killed by a rifle of all types and 7032 were killed by a handgun

more people were killed by a cutting instrument than a rifle but let’s ban the rifle

Semi-autos are designed to fire as many bullets as their design can encompass, in a given amount of time. What those bullets do depends on the aim and intent of the one on the trigger.

I certainly wouldn’t.

Might use them to make holes in paper, though.

Unless you are thinking of the self-initiating firearm, the intent is that of the operator. The piece of metal is merely designed to perform in a certain way, within the confines of the piece of metal.

No sh*t, Sherlock. No one would use those weapons to kill a few chickens for a family reunion dinner.
No, but they might use one to kill enough squirrels to make a good stew. Or kill a few coyotes that have been killing their chickens.

Or just play some music -

Well…that was…unexpected. Bet Haydn would have been equally surprised. I had 12 years music lessons, back many years, and I couldn’t play a Glock that well. Let alone two Glocken.

Squirrels do not live in close packs. You don’t need an Uzi to kill them. Hunting rifles are perfectly suitable for hunting… Making a blood bath like in Las Vegas or at the schools are not a legitimate use for fire arms.
No, they live is small groupings called ‘scurry’. Thus a semi-auto is much better than, say a bolt action, for getting 2 or 3 at once. The others will literally scurry off before you can work the action.,

I am a Hunter Ed Instructor, perhaps you could take a course a learn a bit about the sport.

And I don’t think anyone here has suggested that school shootings were a legitimate use of firearms. Could you point me to the post that suggested that??

Needless to say, he’s Glock synchin’.

In our area squrrels are very thuggish and form actual stump gangs. They traffic in fermented acorns. Real beady-eyed nut jobs. Some carry Hi-Points.

Can that compete with a shotgun?

Mowing down as many targets as possible IS the reason to have semi-automatic guns. Civilians cannot have any legitimate reason to own such weapons.
Shotgun would only be effective if all three of your targets were within the shot cone. Highly unlikely. Also, using a shotgun precludes head shots, which saves the meat.

No ‘mowing down’ required. It simply allows more rapid fire. As far as civilian ownership, squirrel hunting is a legitimate reason, as are 3-gun matches, Olympic rapid fire pistol etc… All of that are legitimate activities, as well as rural varmint control, skeet and sporting clays. The list goes on and on.

Any claim that there are no legitimate uses is thus demonstrably false.
