**Gunmen attack Pakistan university, kill at least eight people **
A group of militants stormed a university in volatile northwestern Pakistan on Wednesday and killed at least eight people, officials said, with firing inside the campus still going on and two explosions heard.
Deputy Inspector General Saeed Wazir said at least three students had been killed in the attack, and a spokesman for the rescue workers said eight bodies had been recovered so far.
Four of the gunmen have been killed by security forces and the army has contained the militants to two blocks inside the university, a spokesman for the army said on twitter. Police said earlier that other attackers were believed to be at large on the second and third floors of the campus buildings.

Terrorists strike Bacha Khan University in Pakistan; 60 to 70 students shot dead, claims eyewitnesses
Peshawar, Jan 20: A group of gunmen armed with heavy ammunition conducted terror strike on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda district of northwest Pakistan. Around 50 injured people have been brought out from the school and shifted to Charsadda District HQ hospital. The Pakistan security forces have surrounded the Bacha Khan University and the entire area. Security forces, including SSG special forces have entered premises of university to confront with terrorists. The police have managed to kill two terrorists so far.
According to a rescued student, 60 to 70 students have been shot in the head by the attackers, reported the Dawn News. The fierce gun-battle between security forces and terrorists is still under-way in the university campus. A mushaera and exams were underway with participation of around 700 students when 4 to 5 gunmen enter the Bacha Khan University. The police suspect more causalities.
