If you’re not a “singer”, maybe you’d prefer to honor our Mother by praying the traditional “Hail Holy Queen”:Hail Holy Queen, enthroned above, O Maria!
Hail Mother of Mercy and of Love, O Maria!
Triumph all ye cherubim! Sing with us ye seraphim!
Heaven and earth resound the hymn: Salve, salve, salve Regina!
I hope you will offer our Queen and Mother some thoughts, words and deeds of love today, in thanksgiving and in reparation. The prayer which the Universal Church prays in the Liturgy today is:Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.
Father, you have given us the mother of Your Son, to be our Queen and Mother. With the support of her prayers may we come to share the glory of your children in the kingdom of heaven.
