Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Today is the Memorial of the Queenship of Mary, our Mother. If you know this hymn, you may want to sing her praises throughout this day:
Hail Holy Queen, enthroned above, O Maria!
Hail Mother of Mercy and of Love, O Maria!
Triumph all ye cherubim! Sing with us ye seraphim!
Heaven and earth resound the hymn: Salve, salve, salve Regina!
If you’re not a “singer”, maybe you’d prefer to honor our Mother by praying the traditional “Hail Holy Queen”:
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.
I hope you will offer our Queen and Mother some thoughts, words and deeds of love today, in thanksgiving and in reparation. The prayer which the Universal Church prays in the Liturgy today is:
Father, you have given us the mother of Your Son, to be our Queen and Mother. With the support of her prayers may we come to share the glory of your children in the kingdom of heaven.

Thank you for posting and the reminder of this very special day.

Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

Dear MS_SURVEYOR, wild thing, eat, pray, love, Rocket and mommyk,

Thank you all so much for your prayers, and for giving loving honor to our Mother and Queen on her Feast Day! 🙂

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

**O God, who, through the merits of blessed Francis,
didst give increase to Thy Church,
by enriching her with new offspring:
grant us, that following his example
we may despise earthly goods
and ever rejoice in partaking of Thy heavenly gifts.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son,
Who lives and reigns with You and Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

Amen.**
