Also, for Halloween, I’m going out with friends (fiends? ) dressed up as a lich, an undead wizard. I guess, by the measure of a couple folks’ pride and judgement here, that I’m riding to Hell on a gravy train with biscuit wheels.

Oh, well.

I’ll try not to scare your kids TOO badly on Halloween night, though. Muahahaha!!!

Sarcasm helps in making points. You are not mocked. You are confronted with a church made of human bones and you brush it aside talking now of a “different type of skeleton”. What are you afraid of? Costumes , masks? No Christians are praying to them, or making them other than what they are , horrible things and images of death.

Show the evidence of souls damaged by masks and candy.

Show me that all of the early Church Fathers are in agreement on Halloween, like they were about things like the Virginity of Mary and the Real Presence of the Eucharist, and I’ll take your stance more seriously.
