I’ve seen MANY muslims use atheist arguments against Christianity. To all non-Muslims, regardless of what you believe, this is a timely reminder yet again.
Always remember that convincing yourself that Islam is not the Truth is NOT the proof that your own faith is.
Those who are scrutinizing the Qur’an with the intention of finding any perceived errors or discrepancies within it really do need to examine their own scriptures with the same standards that they set for the Qur’an in order to determine whether or not these scriptures would pass muster as well.
Also, I just cannot believe that an atheist would use a Catholic forum to attack Islam… for that is just so totally nonsensical that it beggars belief.
Never sent We a messenger or a prophet before thee but when He recited (the message) Satan proposed (opposition) in respect of that which he recited thereof. But Allah abolisheth that which Satan proposeth. Then Allah establisheth His revelations. Allah is Knower, Wise;
Muhammad did not even distinguish between the language of Allah and language of satan. Satan seems to have met the challenge.
The challenge was to produce ONE (1) sura like it (or if I remember correctly, even just a part). If this person claimed that he wrote 2 suras, why then couldn’t he have written many more suras to prove once and for all to everyone at the time that he has indeed met the challenge of the Qur’an?
Ever heard of the expression “Possession is 9/10ths of the law”?
At the end of the day, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had 100% of the Qur’an (all 114 suras of it)… whereas this person who claimed to have written 2 suras of it ended up with exactly 0% of the Qur’an.
Based on modern day law, who between Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his accuser would the Courts decide is the rightful “copyright owner” of the Qur’an?
I don’t know. The people who buried the apostate and who witnessed his body lying out of the grave on those 3 consecutive days were not Muslims.
Since they themselves saw the condition of the body and the state of the grave it had been buried in, why then won’t you accept their eventual judgment that it was not possible to have been done by human beings?
What do you know about the body and the grave that they seemingly were not aware of on those 3 consecutive days in question that you should doubt their judgment that it could not have been the work of human beings?
Yes, I have already done so in this post.Your first point is true. Btw have you posted the standards on which to judge the suras on suralikeit?
I do examine the OT/NT with the same critical eye as that of the Quran and without exception one is proven to be error, and the other true. Those who are scrutinizing the Qur’an with the intention of finding any perceived errors or discrepancies within it really do need to examine their own scriptures with the same standards that they set for the Qur’an in order to determine whether or not these scriptures would pass muster as well.
I’ve already commented on the one. Rather a Catch 22 on the Quran.nobody commented on my last posts; i think they are relevant to the discussion…any (name removed by moderator)ut?
The problem is that huge chucks of one part of the Quran are repeated/copied in other sections, so I fail to see this as a distinguishing criteria.Yes, I have already done so in this post.
No copying from the Qur’an is allowed and therefore these “suras” fail the test of honesty and sincerity.
Our scriptures are not based on the so-called private revelations of one man as yours are. The Church has recognized some private revelations, but they do not belong to the deposit of the faith. To all non-Muslims, regardless of what you believe, this is a timely reminder yet again.

Why shouldn’t an atheist attack Islam? He’s lived in Muslim countries I believe, so he knows the real Islam, not the one projected to us by Muslims, leftists and multiculturalists! Also, I just cannot believe that an atheist would use a Catholic forum to attack Islam… for that is just so totally nonsensical that it beggars belief.
I believe that those “500 witnesses” thought that they saw Jesus (pbuh) being crucified. Why do you deny the testimony of over 500 witnesses that saw the Lord rise after three days in the tomd? I Corintians 15.4-7?![]()

The hadith qudsi are communicated by Muhammad using his own words: revelation from Allah, words by Muhammad. The Quran, on the other hand, is supposedly the literal words of Allah, hence “higher” that hadith qudsi…Another, similarly only for those who want to go into the complexity argument, why are the hadith qudsi (traditions from muslimms where God speaks in the first person) not in the Quran.
Sorry…there are no enemies of islam ; only billions of christians/buddhists and others who find it very , very difficult to trust the people of the Quran…especially considering what your book says about us so-called ’ unbelievers/infidels.’ BUT…get one thing right , you must not develop a persecution complex as this could cause you to hate all around you…not very good for your spiritual health ! Peace…!Muslims, especially those at the time of Muhammad (pbuh), do not dig out graves and throw the body out because it is sinful to do this even to the enemies of Islam.
If you can believe that the sea can be split apart as happened during the Exodus, why then should it be so difficult to believe that the earth can throw a body out from it’s grave?
no,they **THOUGHT **they saw the body lying out the grave.I believe that those “500 witnesses” thought that they saw Jesus (pbuh) being crucified.
In the case of the apostate, not only did they believed they saw the body lying out of the grave on 3 consecutive days, they actually buried his body 3 times as well.
That is a big difference in perspective.
what’s strange is that the same author of the Quran repeated many passages many times, each time adding new stuff. Was he learning history with time? The problem is that huge chucks of one part of the Quran are repeated/copied in other sections, so I fail to see this as a distinguishing criteria.
So what makes a sura a sura? And makes a good sura good?
You’re stating what you believe happened, because that’s what you want to believe!I believe that those “500 witnesses” thought that they saw Jesus (pbuh) being crucified.
Big deal! Even if they body had been disenterred fifty times, it would not prove that humans had nothing to do with it! Do you not believe that humans can exhume bodies?? You actually see something supernatural in that?In the case of the apostate, not only did they believed they saw the body lying out of the grave on 3 consecutive days, they actually buried his body 3 times as well.
That is a big difference in perspective.
Aah, but they KNOW that they buried his body no less than 3 times.no,they **THOUGHT **they saw the body lying out the grave.
ahhh but people **KNOW **Jesus was crucified. Why do you question the intelligence of some and claimthe others as hallucinating ?Aah, but they KNOW that they buried his body no less than 3 times.
talking about hadith qudsi, check yet another plagiarism by Muhammad:I

They KNOW??.. How do they know?ahhh but people **KNOW **Jesus was crucified. Why do you question the intelligence of some and claimthe others as hallucinating ?
