Well, I don’t have a husband, but I have a boyfriend who’s very handy. He can build stuff, repair cars, and he’s even good at tidying and not a bad cook.

Of course, he lives two hours away from me, so I don’t get to enjoy the benefits of his handiness yet.

However, he doesn’t have any tools of his own. His place is pretty small and his salary is pretty low, so he doesn’t do much in the way of projects.
I have a very nice toolkit, though. I have just the basics - a variety of screwdrivers, a hammer, a couple of saws, wire cutters, plenty of duct tape, and a handful of hardware like screws, nails, hooks, and other such stuff. When I have projects that need doing, I can do them myself, or I can play the girl card and ask my boyfriend to come over and do them for me. I generally do them myself, though, because it takes a couple of weeks for him to get around to coming over to help.

When my arm was broken last year, though, he was ever-so-helpful about helping me get my new apartment set up. (I snagged me a good one!
