An SSPX chapel that celebrates the O.F.?
Thatās the other one I was trying to remember.New Liturgical Movement
Yes.Your talking about the changes at Star of the Sea right?
Do you mean they were relatively new Catholics, or barely practicing nominal ones?I used to have family that attended that church. They were barely Catholic by the time the new priest came along.
Thatās a shame, and Iām really sorry to hear that.Needless to say they did not stick around for the transition. As a matter of fact, they donāt go to church at all now.
Barely practicing cradle Catholics.Do you mean they were relatively new Catholics, or barely practicing nominal ones?
Yes! I went to that parish school. They planted the seed if you will.is your avatar from the top of St. Dominicās?
Itās also the parish I was received in! (Hence my username and avatar which reflect my patron, the Dominican Doctor St. Albert the Great whose disciple was none other than the Dominican Angelic Doctor himself, St. Thomas Aquinas). I see from your profile youāre ācoming homeā so if youāre currently in RCIA there youāre in exceptional hands!Yes! I went to that parish school. They planted the seed if you will.
A French monk I know told me that Abp Lefebvreās secretary once confided in him that Monseigneur was known to use Eucharistic Prayer II when saying a private Mass between flights in an airport chapel, because itās shorter. Not sure if itās true at all⦠but an interesting anecdote nonetheless. An SSPX chapel that celebrates the O.F.?
