**I know that the end of Rev. 12 is clear as day that we who are followers of Jesus have Mary as our Heavenly Mother. **

And I also know that Mary has appeared in the past and currently in person and through miracles to Orthodox Christians and to Catholics (and even to Non-Christians - to Orthodox Christians and Muslims in Egypt and to Orthodox Christians and Hindus in India). Most recently to Orthodox in Hawaii - miracle of the Myrrh Streaming Icons. www.orthodoxhawaii.org/icons.html

But has Mary ever appeared specifically to Protestants?

If she never has what does this mean?

Does this mean that Mary is the Mother of both Christians of the Historical Churches and also of Non-Christians, but is not the Mother of Protestants?

Does their bad theology and lack of Mysteries/Sacraments, specifically the lack of receiving Jesus not only into their hearts, but also into their stomachs by way of Holy Eucharist, prevent her from showing her love to them?

Wake up. Mary is dead and awaiting redemption just like all other dead christians.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

.

Mary is DEAD.
.
She may have died, its unclear. But what we do know is the Mother of God is in Heaven, both body and soul, like her Son.

You might be interested what the earliest Christians thought of this. Give it a try.

Only person to ascend, which means, on their own power is Jesus Christ. Mary was assumed into Heaven by Jesus. Get it?

Please do not let this post derail this thread.

If anybody knows if Mary has preformed miracles in front of Protestants (and I think She has…and they then left Protestantism, but, I’m not sure), then please give a link…or a first hand account.

the “Miracle of the Sun” at Fatima included atheists and protestants if I remember correctly.

Wouldn’t this have been noted somewhere? I mean, it’s one thing to note Elijah being carried off. But what did Enoch do that was so special? Yet his apparent ascension is noted in Genesis.

She appeared to George Washington, but I’m not sure, he might have been a Quaker.

Yes, you assumed. That, I’m sure cos the bible never says so.
The bible didn’t say a lot of things, but why do you think the bible must say all things? Who gave you this notion?
Code:
			* “…**through the Church*** the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places.”

			 				                        - Ephesians 3:10
THE CHURCH TEACHES ANGELS! GO FIGURE!

I thought we were talking about you assuming Mary is in heaven. Whatever happened??? Why SWING now to talk about the church? Attempting another diversion?

Because the Church is the *PILLAR AND FOUNDATION of *truth so if the Church says Mary was assumed into Heaven, She was assumed. Maybe you are having trouble putting the concept of authority and doctrine together. Maybe.

If the bible doesn’t say it and yet we do it, its considered non-biblical.

If the bible says it and yet we deny it, its considered apostasy.

If the bible says it and we add on to it, its considered heresy.

Which one do you want?

You sure have made the bible into your own idol.

I can also call myself the church and curse you to hell. Its very easy.

Do you know that Peter never officiated the potificate?
Do you know that Peter never relegated the office to Linus?
Do you know that the church is defined by the spirit and not by men?
  • that’s why some muslims are strapping bombs to themselves and blowing people up. They have the delusion that they are CHOSEN. Not knowing that it was men who lead them to think so and not any deity.

You assume the bible, but you don’t know why you beleive it to be inerrant. You forget the Church is the Author, under the inspiration of the Spirit. Most Protestants do. I don’t think history is very popular nowadays.

Where we got the bible: our debt to the Catholic Church:

Enjoy buddy.

The subject of this thread is Has Mary ever appeared to or done miracles for Protestant Christians?

Start another thread if you wish to talk about Mary being in heaven.

Interesting, however it doesn’t seem to be verified just a story.
George Washington was a Episcopalian.

Also, Jesus appeared to a pagan boy in Africa. (see "Our Lady of Kibeho).

I apologize for these people arguing and not answering your question. They know not what they do.

God bless, M

You forgot the author of the Bible is Moses, Jeremiah, Ezra, Samuel, Solomon, Amos, Joel, Hosea, Paul, Luke, Matthew, Peter, John, Jude etc…and NONE of these are Catholics.
