I have never seen Our Lady, but I know someone who did have an experience with her
God bless you for saying that. It made me feel better. Thank you.Donāt feel so bad. I made mistakes in posts I wish I hadnāt.
Where all here as brothers and sisters in Christ to learn and lend help.
The day when someone thinks they have nothing else to learn,
Then they have a problem.
Cheer up
Sincerely Yours in the Peace of Christ
Chris
Here are some dreamsā¦Could it be Our Blessed Mother? I donāt know, sometimes the devil can be a tricky bugger, and dreams could be just dreams.Hey out of curiosity, has Mary ever appeared to you? count dreams or really anything that has struck you as miraculous. :bounce:
Iāll be praying for youIāve never seen Our Lady myself, but I have had a miraculous dream; forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=532928

Many thanks.Iāll be praying for you![]()
I was born on the Feast of the First Apparition of Our Lady in Fatima. I have not been blessed with a visit but, I know that even when I left Her side in the past, Our Lady never left mine. My daughter was born on the Feast of the Annunciation, my son was born on the Feast of the Miracle in Fatima and a grandson was born on 13th of August. Is it mere coincidence that the four of us were born on Our Ladyās feastdays? I do not know. But, I have always prayed to Our Lady to watch over themā¦and me. All three have been in very serious car accidents but, walked away unscathed. What is certain is that my heart was shielded from any hurt similar to what She felt at the foot of the Cross and I attribute protection of my loved ones to Our Lady.Hey out of curiosity, has Mary ever appeared to you? count dreams or really anything that has struck you as miraculous. :bounce:
The closest isnāt even much of an encounter, itās more like I prayed part of the Hail Mary when I was having a seriously creepy nightmare. It only happened a few days ago too. (Even though something tells me that was all really just my God-given bodyās way of telling me I shouldāve waited for my food to digest a little bit before hitting the sack. I was feeling very stuffed that night)Hey out of curiosity, has Mary ever appeared to you? count dreams or really anything that has struck you as miraculous. :bounce:
Noā¦not exactly but I will share my experience anyway. Please note that my old username on the website below was SINNERā¦**NOT ALL THE STORIES ON THE WEBSITE ARE GOODā¦SO BE CAREFUL!!! ** so for that reason I donāt post on that site anymore.Hey out of curiosity, has Mary ever appeared to you? count dreams or really anything that has struck you as miraculous. :bounce:
Gary can you post what was said??I donāt remember what I said. I do remember clearly what God said. Matter of fact if you look at the date I joined this forum, that vision was the night before.
When you said you donāt want to see an apparition it reminded me of something that happened to me when I was little. I am not sure how old I was, maybe about 6 or so. I had just watched a movie about either Fatima or Lourdes and it was the first time I heard that Mary could appear to children. I was so frightened and was afraid to go to bed that night. I finally told my mom that I was afraid that Mary would appear to me. My mom laughed and she was sure I had nothing to worry about because she was certain Mary wouldnāt be appearing to me!No the Blessed Virgin Mary has never appeared to me.
And I wouldnāt want to see an apparition or desire an apparition.
Many Saints say donāt have desire in your heart to be visited by a supernatural apparition.
There are far better chances youāll be visited by Satan or one of his demons in disguise.
My advise for what its worth is to stay clear of such desires.
Peace
Chris
Your story is really cute. When I was small I was terrified of the stigmata and would pray not to get itAlso, I just read somewhere on this site about mystical theology and the thought is that apparitions of Mary can only happen to children; adults could possibly receive locutions. ( this has to do with the maturity of the spiritual soul or something like that).
Adults can have interior visions, that is seeing with the eyes of the soul; this is what Teresa of Avila experienced. This typically occurs when experiencing the gift of infused contemplation. But physical apparitions seen with ones eyes typically occur to the young who are not yet advanced on the path pf contemplative prayer. Visions can occur in dreams as well. Also, I just read somewhere on this site about mystical theology and the thought is that apparitions of Mary can only happen to children; adults could possibly receive locutions. Yeh I disagree. A lot. St Juan Diego, St Gemma, St Faustina? I mean, there are many more Iām sure, but thatās just off the top of my head.Adults can have interior visions, that is seeing with the eyes of the soul; this is what Teresa of Avila experienced.
