I have personally, and I was wondering how rare it was.
I believe so - its not something I can be sure about, but it was a powerful experience that made me very introspective about my faith. I do believe in angels and they are in the heavens and appear here on earth.I have personally, and I was wondering how rare it was.![]()
Neither do I, I just want to make sure Iām not insane.Iāve had certain experiences I cannot explain. But neither can I easily brag about them. Many times I believe certain experiences are simply meant for us and the Lord, and I donāt want to fall into the temptation of seeking praise for them.
What religion are you? and what do you mean your a āprophetā?Of course I have Iām a Prophet of God, angels talk to me all the time.
LibertarianismWhat religion are you?
It might help if you described your own experience. Iāve had quite a few āspiritualā experiences, but Iām also sure a lot of them have been demonic in origin.I have personally, and I was wondering how rare it was.![]()
Iām not Catholic or Protestant, so I chose the āIām otherāI have more then once ,but i didnt vote on the poll since im not christian
I gotta hear this one. What did this angel look like?I have more then once ,but i didnt vote on the poll since im not christian
Ok,It might help if you described your own experience. Iāve had quite a few āspiritualā experiences, but Iām also sure a lot of them have been demonic in origin.
The night my father died he turned up in my room. Heād been very cruel, and he started with an apology, we argued and conversed (he also made some future observations, some of which have already happened since then), and then he dissappeared, but with an almighty scream.
Iāve had 3 cases of what my Catholic psychiatrist coined ādouble whammiesā (heās had them himself), which are like a strong breath going through you in waves from head to foot, and used to highlight a message.
Iāve experienced gripping pressures at night, hints of what seemed to be useful advice at the time, but which turned out to be deceptive (the devil can appear as an angel of light), and quite a number of other things which I believe were demonic.
Once, back in my atheist days, I was going to do something very shoddy, and which would have had dire consequences for all concerned. Just as I was about to act, to my surprise someone appeared who looked a bit like me (guardian angel?), and I went down like a pole axed bull. I also had a distinct impression of something like a curtain being pulled aside, and I suspect that what hides the spiritual world from us is āspace-timeā. Based on that experience, I think spiritual beings can pull it aside like a curtain when it suits them (on very rare occasions).
As to whether a particular āexperienceā is of God or the devil, my answer is that up front, you donāt know. Thatās the risk you take. Even the old mystics were familiar with what might be called the ātail of the snakeā.
its hard to explain, only Allah knows,at least not like we imagine themI gotta hear this one. What did this angel look like?
you said you seen didnāt you? Either you saw it or you didnāt it ⦠and I know if I saw an angel I would sure as heck be able to describe it in vivid detail (although I probably wouldnāt tell anyone, since Iād probably get fired, and Iām a professional guy who stands to lose a lot if everyone thinks Iām nuts ⦠if you know what Iām saying).its hard to explain, only Allah knows,at least not like we imagine thembut they show themselves in different colours, depending on the personā¦some persons see them as human beeings
i know one woman who saw one angel,he had long black hair, and white clothes, she was in a mosque when she saw him,and since she was there alone she became scared and said to him ādissapearā,and the he only gave her a warm smile and dissapeard
sounds like a cross between a religious experience & an Edgar Allen Poe novel.I am a terrible driver, as testified by my insurance premiums.
Once I sped through an intersection and was struck by another vehicle. I rolled and my car was a total loss. I had to go to the hospital but I donāt remember any of that. What I do remember was fading in and out of consciousness. When I was out I was surrounded by darkness, with dozens of beady little golden eyes pressing in on me. I remember being terrified. Then I remember a beautiful young woman in white silk came into my room and sat on the end of my bed. She literally glowed and blinded the greedy little eyes so that I was no longer troubled by them. This happened several times before my full recovery. She never identified herself or spoke to me at all, but I was certain that she was an angel of God.
Once I sped around a sharp turn during a rainstorm and nearly lost control of my car. The string of Rosary beads which I had wrapped around my rearview mirror did not sway but remained completely motionless. Needless to say this freaked me out and I pulled over. Almost imediately a sheriffās deputy pulled up along side me and told me that I had to turn back, because the bridge ahead was washed out. I returned the way I came, traversing the bottomland dotted with dairies to the distinct smell of roses. Call that what you like but it actually happened.
yeah dude, you were in a rainstorm and went around a sharp turn, not to mention youāre an unsafe driver (thatās why you lost control of your vehicle, it wasnāt the beads hanging on your review mirror)I am amazingly blessed.
I dozed off behind the wheel before, and Iām still here (and Iām not religious).I have never been so scared as I was that night. The only explanation I can imagine is that God sent His angels to guide my car, because I certainly wasnāt doing it.
Well, consider yourself blessed, and I too had an angelic experience, does that make me crazy?I dozed off behind the wheel before, and Iām still here (and Iām not religious).
