Have you had an Angelic experience?

I have personally, and I was wondering how rare it was. šŸ‘
I believe so - its not something I can be sure about, but it was a powerful experience that made me very introspective about my faith. I do believe in angels and they are in the heavens and appear here on earth.

Blessings,

Brian

I’ve had certain experiences I cannot explain. But neither can I easily brag about them. Many times I believe certain experiences are simply meant for us and the Lord, and I don’t want to fall into the temptation of seeking praise for them.

Neither do I, I just want to make sure I’m not insane. 😃

Of course I have I’m a Prophet of God, angels talk to me all the time.

It might help if you described your own experience. I’ve had quite a few ā€˜spiritual’ experiences, but I’m also sure a lot of them have been demonic in origin.

The night my father died he turned up in my room. He’d been very cruel, and he started with an apology, we argued and conversed (he also made some future observations, some of which have already happened since then), and then he dissappeared, but with an almighty scream.

I’ve had 3 cases of what my Catholic psychiatrist coined ā€œdouble whammiesā€ (he’s had them himself), which are like a strong breath going through you in waves from head to foot, and used to highlight a message.

I’ve experienced gripping pressures at night, hints of what seemed to be useful advice at the time, but which turned out to be deceptive (the devil can appear as an angel of light), and quite a number of other things which I believe were demonic.

Once, back in my atheist days, I was going to do something very shoddy, and which would have had dire consequences for all concerned. Just as I was about to act, to my surprise someone appeared who looked a bit like me (guardian angel?), and I went down like a pole axed bull. I also had a distinct impression of something like a curtain being pulled aside, and I suspect that what hides the spiritual world from us is ā€œspace-timeā€. Based on that experience, I think spiritual beings can pull it aside like a curtain when it suits them (on very rare occasions).

As to whether a particular ā€œexperienceā€ is of God or the devil, my answer is that up front, you don’t know. That’s the risk you take. Even the old mystics were familiar with what might be called the ā€œtail of the snakeā€.

Ok,
I was at a Micheal Porrier concert, and he was just beginning his second song. The entire church was lit up with candles. All of a sudden, the light from the candles, left them, they traveled in beams and met above Mr. Porier’s head. The candles, however, were still lit! When the beams met, they formed into a golden figure, about 10ft above the floor. It was in an alb, all golden, and I could not see his/her face, no madder how hard I tried.
Thats about it, hope it doesnt sound to extreme. šŸ˜‰

I gotta hear this one. What did this angel look like?
its hard to explain, only Allah knows,at least not like we imagine them šŸ˜‰ but they show themselves in different colours, depending on the person…some persons see them as human beeings

i know one woman who saw one angel,he had long black hair, and white clothes, she was in a mosque when she saw him,and since she was there alone she became scared and said to him ā€œdissapearā€,and the he only gave her a warm smile and dissapeard

you said you seen didn’t you? Either you saw it or you didn’t it … and I know if I saw an angel I would sure as heck be able to describe it in vivid detail (although I probably wouldn’t tell anyone, since I’d probably get fired, and I’m a professional guy who stands to lose a lot if everyone thinks I’m nuts … if you know what I’m saying).

Anyways … me being a white guy, any chance I could get a tall, hot blond chick for my angel? I got more ideas … but I don’t think I can share them here on CAF 😃

Hey bro what about that 72 virgin thing? Although, I don’t really want a virgin (I like women not much more than say ten years younger, and even that’s pushing it, and not many if any virgins in that age group, at least among the kind of chicks I dig). 72 women would be great though, but only like 3 - 5 at a time (I’m only human brotha).

When they start talking too much – out the door, bring in the next batch. Sweeeeet!

I’m only kidding folks … but darn it’s a fun thought. I am a sinner after all

I am a terrible driver, as testified by my insurance premiums.

Once I sped through an intersection and was struck by another vehicle. I rolled and my car was a total loss. I had to go to the hospital but I don’t remember any of that. What I do remember was fading in and out of consciousness. When I was out I was surrounded by darkness, with dozens of beady little golden eyes pressing in on me. I remember being terrified. Then I remember a beautiful young woman in white silk came into my room and sat on the end of my bed. She literally glowed and blinded the greedy little eyes so that I was no longer troubled by them. This happened several times before my full recovery. She never identified herself or spoke to me at all, but I was certain that she was an angel of God.

Once I sped around a sharp turn during a rainstorm and nearly lost control of my car. The string of Rosary beads which I had wrapped around my rearview mirror did not sway but remained completely motionless. Needless to say this freaked me out and I pulled over. Almost imediately a sheriff’s deputy pulled up along side me and told me that I had to turn back, because the bridge ahead was washed out. I returned the way I came, traversing the bottomland dotted with dairies to the distinct smell of roses. Call that what you like but it actually happened.

I am amazingly blessed.

sounds like a cross between a religious experience & an Edgar Allen Poe novel.

yeah dude, you were in a rainstorm and went around a sharp turn, not to mention you’re an unsafe driver (that’s why you lost control of your vehicle, it wasn’t the beads hanging on your review mirror)

I had an angelic intervention while driving. We were coming home from a funeral, it was late at night, and I’d been driving about eight hours already. We were coming through Dallas and had another six hours to go. We couldn’t afford another motel room so we had to keep going.

My husband said that if I would get us to Abiliene then he would drive the rest of the way to Lubbock. We filled up with gas and everybody else was asleep before we even pulled out of the gas station.

I remember that I dozed off a couple of times, and drifted onto the shoulder before waking up. I was trying my hardest to stay awake. I saw a sign that showed the way to Abiliene, and remember going under an overpass, and then I fell asleep. I was so deep asleep that I was dreaming. The next time I opened my eyes we were pulling into Abiliene, and I didn’t even know we had left Dallas.

I have never been so scared as I was that night. The only explanation I can imagine is that God sent His angels to guide my car, because I certainly wasn’t doing it.

I dozed off behind the wheel before, and I’m still here (and I’m not religious).

Well, consider yourself blessed, and I too had an angelic experience, does that make me crazy?

p.s. Please don’t hold back for my sake.
